It is noticeable that they have added some additional people and the place is spiffed up a bit. It's great to see some effort and I was encouraged but of course on my out I was reminded that they still have only one lane open since closing the other during covid. The restricted drive thru availability obviously translates into longer lines inside and out. That just doesn't make a lot of sense if you really care about your customers. The reply I got from Walgreens was the prescription would be available Friday after 3:10 pm. On Saturday morning I logged in only to find the prescription was cancelled the day I reordered. No notice from Walgreens. When I asked what I need to do the parceled me honey and said you have to contact Walgreens because that is an app issue. I inquired about how I could get a refill and she said contact you primary care doctor on Monday. All if her comment were defensive. We have experienced the decline in customer support for sometime at this location. Other Walgreens have been customer oriented. Not here.

On 1 November I had a prescription that was supposed to be filled. My doctor sent over a…read moreprescription for me to take a pill one in the morning one at noon and three at night. CVS wrote the prescription for one pill a day. Someone pick the prescription up for me. When I read the prescription I was in disbelief. The next morning I called my doctor verified the prescription and called the pharmacist. They insist that they wrote it out right and I was wrong. I asked them to please review the prescription and they placed me on hold to which of course I was disconnected. I called back was placed on hold for quite a bit of time. They came back said yes the The prescription did read what I said. Never admitting their fault. But they told me I couldn't get the rest of the prescription until the 17th. I am now going out of town and trying to get the rest of my prescription. I spoke with my insurance and they gave me an 800 number for CVS to call and they will give them a vacation override no problem. CVS said they cannot call! I called that 800 number they said they will have no problem with approving it. I called CVS again and they said they can't approve it because in the state of Alabama this drug is a controlled substance a class five controlled substance which applies to cough medicine and stuff. So now they insist they have to call the Alabama state board to get approval from them to give me pills that I've already paid for which by the way I can get in just a few days but unfortunately I'm leaving before the 17th. I have never ever seen a pharmacy that was not willing to immediately rectify their error!!!!! It is unbelievable their attitude and their unwillingness to help me they will not even try. I informed the 800 number that they have to call about all the stuff in the Alabama controlled substance law and they said they have no problem approving it they have the authorization. I am so flustered and in disbelief that the pharmacy does not have their patrons best interest! Never again!

The property is pretty tight being this Tom Thumb is located in the middle of a strip mall with businesses extending out from both side without a well planned traffic pattern. In the time it took me to pump my gas I had two close calls with vehicles trying to squeeze by to transverse the parking lot at speeds that were unsafe in my opinion. The prices here were competitive with the other stations in the area although after this experience I'd be okay paying a few cents more per gallon. I had no interaction with the staff being I paid at the pump so my review is essentially based on the lack of useable space outside and a complete lack of traffic signage it's pretty much a free for all...
