The carwash is awesome. Touch-less and except for the back of the van gets the cars clean. I try to use this feature every time I fill up in the winter. There can be huge lines so timing can be important. I never eat or drink at these places. so I cant speak to that. But if you need some chips or a hot coffee this place has got that for you. Lastly, I like the EasyPay system. no fuss no muss. Shell's system works really well, including things like the car wash. Just don't loose the FOB. Now... should we start a complaint around this ethanol as additive? 10% added? this is a sham. At least shell tells you the percentage of each grade of fuel.

And his dislike for Trump and anything related, provoked his angst that he drove up to the closest gas station to get his car wash. It was slow in getting into the car wash. Maybe because it was Friday night and people are trying to get their chores done and getting their car washed was one of them. Painless and quick- it took all in 4 minutes for the car wash to be completed. The kindest was getting in line the car wash code and lining to get into the car wash machine. Quick and easy job. Clean car done in a jiffy!

In my opinion, the gas tanks have been positioned in the wrong direction; you have to make a hard left or a hard right within the parking lot to line up with the tanks when you should be able to drive straight in. The store is well stocked. The rote questions that all Petro-Can staff ask--"Would you like (miserable) coffee with that?"--are a little tiresome, but I frequent these gas stations because my store card gives me two cents off per litre.

If you have been reading along for a while, I will mention that Markham does not have a 7-Eleven, which is simply wrong. We lost our store at least a decade ago. My closest 7-Eleven store is in Pickering. Whenever I see a store, I feel compelled to check it out because it's a unicorn to me. When you are driving northbound on Bathurst, this store is on your right. I turned in and found that there is plenty of parking behind the store. I backed into a spot, walked by the ice, and entered the store. I have a thing for Slurpees. I lived in Winnipeg, which is the Slurpee capital of Canada. I developed this habit then. My favourite is the Crush cream soda lite Slurpee. I was already sipping on a cantaloupe bubble tea, so I went with a medium. My usual size here is a large. To my delight, I found a good selection of Filipino snacks. What stood out the most was Meng Pedro's chicharron in garlic. OMG! I hit the jackpot. Without any hesitation, I grabbed a bag. I had a nice woman help with my transaction. This visit was my first at any 7-Eleven during this pandemic. I had to figure out how to use my 7-Eleven app to get to my points barcode. I eventually figured it out and it was scanned. I paid with a debit card. I tapped and I was done. I thanked the woman, grabbed my goodies, and left. The Slurpee was perfect. After I had polished off my bubble tea, I had my Slurpee. It had the right combination of cream soda flavour and slushy ice. Yum! I had the garlic chicharron later on that week. It was excellent. There was so much garlic flavour. I am sure that if I sat on a park bench eating this bag that no one would sit next to me. The garlic flavour was that strong. I was happy. It meant that I would never share the garlicky, crunchy snack with anyone ever. I'd drop by again just for the garlic chicharron and cream soda Slurpee. The store is spacious, has everything that I love about 7-Eleven, it has the best garlic chicharron. I can't say that every 7-Eleven has the best chicharron, which makes this store unique in my eyes. There's nothing wrong with the Timmies--it's clean, and the staff is nice--and the same goes for the Esso. But this place is true madness at times. People park in the driving lanes between gas pumps routinely, and in the disabled parking spot, and in the fire lane, and in the middle of the parking lot. It can be really frustrating and people can be quite selfish and will block you in, all for a cup of coffee. I go all the time, but I can walk. Drivers beware.

VERY rude employees who obviously shouldn't be working on other people's vehicles, and they will brag about their experience while they mess up your vehicle and take NO RESPONSIBILITY whatsoever. After getting an oil change, I noticed oil leaks at home and at work, so I took my car to my mechanic then got hit with a massive repair bill due to the fact that during the oil change, the oil filter was not replaced properly, causing oil to soak my engine damaging the alternator. The entire engine had to be shampooed and oil soaked belts replaced and it all cost me $1500. I was lucky (probably because the months are colder now) that my car didn't catch fire. Getting a hold of the owner is an impossibility, no-one ever picks up the phone, and upon my surprise visit, I noticed a pad with my NAME, NUMBER, CAR MAKE AND MODEL right beside the phone. They were screening my calls and deliberately avoiding me! IF you deal with these people and the manage to screw you over, GET THE LAW INVOLVED. I had no choice.

He told me to come back in 20 minutes when he had finished his lunch. I went over to Canadian Tire to pick up some items and returned. The technician opened the service bay doors and I drove in. The technician then turned his back to me and began shuffling through papers. After a few minutes, I asked him what he was doing. He told me that he was doing paperwork that would take about 20 minutes. I did not have time to wait and left. Another customer was waiting at the service bay door and he asked me where I was going. I told him what the technician had told me and the customer stormed into the office area. I did not wait to see the outcome of that interaction. I was annoyed enough at what happened that I called the station later and asked to speak to the manager. The technician answered the phone and claimed to be the manager. I told him that I recognized his voice and would get in touch with the manager by email. I outlined what happened in an email to the manager who happens to actually own the station. He told me that he has another job and only works at the station on Saturdays. He told me that because I was a long standing customer and as an apology, he would provide a free oil change if I came by on Saturday. I went back and while I never did meet the owner, a young woman had been briefed as to what happened and I got the free oil change. That should have been the end of that but a few days later, I noticed a trail of oil on my driveway. I returned to the station and the technician who did the oil change told me that he had failed to clean the pan and that was what caused the oil leak. In fact, he had not tightened the new oil filter and the oil subsequently leaked out completely. I went to another service provider to replenish the oil and this was confirmed. I would advise to stay away from this service station. The customer service is poor and the technicians do not know what they are doing.
