My issue with visiting a 7-Eleven is that there isn't one close by where I live. Markham no longer has a store. The closest one by my home is in Pickering. It's not exactly five minutes away! On weekends, I often travel along Rutherford Road. There are two 7-Eleven stores on this road that bookend Highway 400. I decided to try the first one that I hit after work going eastbound last Thursday night, which was this one. There is plenty of parking. I managed to back into a spot. This store has a gas station. Prices are cheaper in this area than the GTA in general. There were lots of pumps available at 7:30 pm. I walked in and looked at the beverages in the fridge. There were great deals on pop, which I love. There's a new orange sorbet Coke. I stood there looking longingly and happily at the bottles. A orange Coke float in a bottle was a dream to me. I snapped out of my trance and got two. The cashier at the counter was great. I paid and had my 7Rewards barcode scanned on my app. Points earned and preserved. Mission accomplished! I grabbed my cold bottles of pop and cheerfully headed back to my car. The chicken wings and nuggets smelled so good. Had I not had dinner, I would have bought some. The hot foods are pretty good at 7-Eleven if you're in a rush and need to get rid of your hunger pangs. I'd come back here again. I like this 7-Eleven. Traffic does get crazy in this area, as there are box stores five minutes away. It's also roughly ten minutes away from Vaughan Mills and Canada's Wonderland. (364)

The lower price plus the 30 liters promotion (think another 3 cents off) make it a definite goto place for gas.

The staff (yes I am talking to you Gurjot) here are very rude and incompetent. They are so arrogant that their mistake is blamed on the consumer Having to prepay is unfortunately normal these days but to not listen to the customer then blame us the consumer for not telling them what amount While they randomly type in an amount, when you point out their error, they only tell you, goto another pump and will authorize you there. Hello? You screwed up and want me to move my car to another pump? I do not think so.... The food is pretty good.....let's call it comfort food, but not healthy food. I find my way here every couple of months, and have yet to be disappointed. This is one of the few gas stations in town that operates one car wash at a time, the glacial pace the line moves at is incredibly frustrating especially once you're trapped in line. It doesn't have the wheel ramp thing here though so that's why I ended up here tonight since my partner's car is super low otherwise I would be washing it the one by Wegz which is a block away from here.

The Purple and Orange prewash detergent was not applied so Im not sure if they use a sub standard…read moredetergent. It doesn't foam like i is suppose to. Also noticed the water temperature is turned down since at other Superwash locations all the ice is melted off. Here the ice is partially melted on cold days. Doesn't spray under the car to remove salt since I looked under the car after passing through and noticed this wasn't done. Im going to call Petrocan to see if this feature has been removed in the GTA area. I recently was in Windsor I was so surprised to have such a thorough and amazing job the Superglide car wash did with another secondary wash section and underbody spray. The wash took at least another 1 1/2 mins extra to go thorough the carwash And the drying section actually dried all the water off.

So, the gas price here is slightly cheaper than most GTA locations. However, the closer you are to Wonderland, the cheaper the gas prices are. I went inside to get a banana popsicle and to check out USB C cables. I developed the former habit for over a year. The latter is recent. The banana popsicle was frozen solid. I like an efficient freezer. The last one that I had from a different Petro-Canada a week ago had melted in the package and then refrozen. This store is modern. The USB cables are closer to the cashier by the window. As for USB C cables, the selection is decent. You can get them in white, pink, and black. Service inside was prompt. The friendliness part needs improvement. I said hi and got nothing. (236)
