It's a gas and convenience store all in one. Very nine people, worth stopping in. The cashier was sweet:)

Sunday, 5-31-2026: I had seen & heard about this place from family and on TV. This place is huge!…read more They should at least have a couple of Buc-ee's in every state. What a crazy, unexpected concept! They have everything here. It was definitely sensory overload for me. It was crowded with locals & tourists. It's very organized and clean. The restroom was impressively clean. We mostly bought snacks. Love the warm candied nuts like pecans. We left without exploring the entire store due to the crowded conditions. We were checked out quickly by a friendly cashier. Definitely will return.

As much as I love Buc-ee's, I had a really disappointing experience today…read more I usually buy bakery items, snacks, and fuel, but this time my child grabbed a chicken and fries basket with ranch and ketchup. Since I was already carrying several things, I set the ranch cups and ketchup packets on top of my closed purse while heading to checkout. At the register, I handed over the food basket, ranch cups, pastries, nuts, and everything else. We spent about $75 on snacks and another $60 on fuel. Then the cashier asked, "Ma'am, are you trying to steal ketchup?" I was completely caught off guard. I have never stolen anything in my life and honestly didn't even know ketchup packets were something that had to be paid for. When she asked how many I had, I told her 3 or 4, and I immediately paid for them. There was never any argument or hesitation. It was simply an honest mistake. What made the situation upsetting was how embarrassing it felt to be accused in front of other customers. Maybe there was a sign posted near the hot food section, but I didn't pick up the food myself and never saw it. I just wish there had been a little more understanding, especially considering we had already spent well over $100 in the store. A simple explanation that the sauces were an extra charge would have gone a lot further than making me feel like I was trying to steal. I still love Buc-ee's, but I left feeling embarrassed and disappointed.

I don't think I've written a review about a gas station but, this one, more specifically, an…read moreemployee deserves to be regaled. With any business, it can fail or succeed due to their employees. It doesn't matter if you have the best product or service on the market, your business will thrive or die without the right people representing your company. I know for a FACT I'm not the only customer that will drive a bit farther to get gas or other convenience store items due to one of their AMAZING employees. Her name is Raquel and there's never been a time I've been in there that a customer hasn't proclaimed that they come to this location solely because of her! Most will drive a few extra miles because of her and this is more common than not. I don't know what they're paying her but, they should double it or at least give her some kind of commission for all of the customers she brings in to that specific location. Currently, I'm not a business owner, but if I were, I would be scouting her out to handle anything and everything business wise. People love her! And it's not without reason. Raquel remembers everybody's name. She recalls the conversation they had previously and will ask them about their life. I can't say enough good things about this wonderful woman. The thing I also like about her if I were looking at her from the standpoint of a business owner is the fact that she doesn't keep a long line chitchatting up with somebody. She keeps the flow going and is a genius with the customers. I just don't have the words to really describe how amazing she is. And I hope that somebody else that frequents this location will chime in. Honestly, this place is making money hand over fist not from their location but, from Raquel.

Tired of fighting the traffic at Buc-ee's to fuel up and get a snack? On a Saturday morning we sure…read morewere. So we decided "eh let's give this place a shot instead" on our drive down to San Antonio. And to our surprise, this place was actually really solid. No, it doesn't have the SHEER square footage of the NB Buc-ee's, but it has nice clean plentiful bathrooms, a good assortment of snacks, drinks, useful trinkets, and toys, as well as a buy-at-the-counter deli with fresh hot food and many tables to sit and eat inside. Honestly, all our needs were more than met stopping here and it took probably less than half the time fighting the onslaught of cars/people always swarming like ants at Buc-ee's across the freeway on the weekends. If you find yourself in a similar conundrum (and don't have any beaver-related business needs), just come here instead! Also the Exxon pumps have tap to pay. Yay!

The air conditioning either wasn't working or was completely ineffective. The store was uncomfortably hot, and several employees appeared to be sweating heavily while working. The prices were another shock. I ended up spending far more than expected for just two drinks, which made the experience even more frustrating. I was also concerned by what I observed in the food service area. Employees were using their phones while working around food, and I did not see gloves being worn during food preparation. One food service employee, Abigail, seemed annoyed that I wanted to place an order. After seeing the condition of the food area and the lack of professionalism, I decided it wasn't worth purchasing food. Overall, the combination of excessive heat, high prices, questionable food handling practices, and poor customer service left a very negative impression. Management needs to address the air conditioning issue immediately and take a closer look at food safety standards and employee professionalism. I will not be returning and would encourage others to be aware of these issues before visiting.
