The second time was on Saturday. My car needed a gas fill-up. I saw an e-mail saying that I can earn twice the PC Optimum points this weekend. I don't normally hit an Esso and decided to change things up. This station is located on the northwest side of Dixie and Eglinton. It's roughly a five-minute drive from my workplace. I pulled in on a Saturday afternoon. Many of the gas pumps were available. There were only three customers there, including a loud guy talking on his wireless earbuds with his phone safely in his car. The prompts on the pump's screen were easy. You insert your PC Optimum card first. If you have a gas gift card, it gets inserted second. I only wanted to insert my credit card. I got that prompt shortly afterwards. Once all that is taken care of, I was ready to select the gas that I wanted and pump away. This station is clean. There is plenty of space to park your car off to the side, and go into Circle K to make a snack or beverage purchase. Gas prices tend to be slightly cheaper in this vicinity than the GTA norm. Roughly five years ago, we moved to our current location, which is on the opposite side of the airport. It takes me longer to get to a gas station these days, should I need to. I like this location. If you have a rental car and are about to head off to the airport, I recommend filling up at this gas station. It's easier and convenient to fill up and head off than using the other station across the street. This station gets busy in the morning, as it is next to the airport valet parking lot. However, I never have an issue finding a pump to fill up my car. Gas prices are still on the high side these days, but it's not as outrageous as it was a month ago. Don't forget to use your Petro Rewards card to earn points towards various purchases, such as bottled water or a gas discount. (222)
