I am BEYOND upset right now at the level of basic human decency that was denied to me this evening that I still can't believe. The inside of the service station closes at 10pm. I work just down the street at a 24 hour animal clinic, so this service station is the clinic's go to for drinks and snacks. I arrived on my lunch break at 9:45 pm just to buy a can of coke. I walked in and was not greeted or anything, which is fine, I just wanted my drink and to be on my way as my break is only 30 mins. While I am opening the cooler to grab my drink the man beyond the counter proceeded to yell at me that they close at 10pm and I have 15 mins. Whoa! Calm down dude, is what I felt like saying but just grabbed my can of coke and proceeded to the counter. I sit my can of soda down at the register where he is standing with his back to me tallying receipts. I stood there for 10 mins with him shooting me dirty looks and never saying anything waiting to just buy a soda that was $1.07. After the 10 mins an older woman walks in with 10 lotto tickets and the man turns around smiling and talking to the woman in spanish. Mind you I am still standing there... Then another older man walks in and starts talking to the man behind the counter about his life. The man behind the counter the asks the other 2 people how he can help them?!?!? I eventually got tired of standing there especially since I am directly in front of the man and he is talking behind me! So I left left the can of coke and went to another gas station down the street. I WILL be calling the manager tomorrow and corporate.

After swiping my card several times and trying to read the broken display I gave up. Another pump I pulled up to had a bag, saying "out of service." Then I pull up to #15 and the display worked fine, but after swiping my card it said I have to see the attendant. Tempted to leave, I instead went into the store. Two ladies were there, but neither spoke English. I tried my best in broken Spanish to explain that I wanted to fill up my car. They asked how many dollars I wanted to put in?
