Let me tell you, the food and the service here were fantastic! I ordered several pieces of chicken - the chicken was so moist and fresh. It was obvious the the chicken had not been out of the fryer for more than a few minutes. And it was only 8:30 in the morning and they had fantastic chicken!!! What a great way to start my morning. I also ordered a chicken biscuit which was also wonderful - a very good biscuit with a nice sized piece of fresh chicken. And the service? There were two ladies working the front of the store - one at the registers, she seemed like the manager, and a lady working the sandwich counter. These two ladies could not have any nicer or more pleasant!! Thank you ladies, so happy to have stopped at your location this morning!!

Bottom Line: A brand new 7-Eleven, complete with gas pumps, just a 1/4 mile north of its former location. The 7-11 in Arnold's College Village shopping center faithfully served travelers on northbound Ritchie Highway for decades! As of the end of March, this 7-Eleven has a new and improved home, about 1/4 mile north on Ritchie Highway at Jones Station Road. The new location consists of a brand new store and eight gas pumps. The store was built from the ground up and is probably twice the size as the old location. Everything inside is bright and sparkling. They have the basics like a soda fountain, coffee and ATM machine. I also noticed that this new location has a lot more cases for hot food and a refrigerator with bait. Of course you can count on 7-Eleven for lotto tickets, Slurpees, snacks and bottled beverages too. Unlike the old location, this location has gas pumps - eight of them! They have three grades of gas and pumps #1 and #2 have diesel. This new location is substantially busier than the old location, probably thanks to the excitement of something new in SP, the addition of gas pumps and a better location. It seems like they've definitely added staff to scale with the increased number of customers. Since this location is at an intersection with a stop light, it is more accessible to those traveling on southbound Ritchie Highway than the old location.

It is without a doubt my go-to gas station in Baltimore City. Its gas is consistently a few cents cheaper than the other two gas stations also located at the intersection of Falls Road and Cold Spring Lane. And overall, it's 10-30 cents cheaper per gallon versus other gas stations in the city. Most importantly, prices are the same for both cash and credit, unlike the other two gas stations also at the same intersection. The gas station has 6 pumps, which are very modern and are equipped with contactless credit card readers along with chip readers. Pumps are decently fast at pumping out gas. Diesel fuel is available. The pumps are spread decently apart so pulling one's vehicle in and out is not too bad, especially considering it's Baltimore City and not the County. The people working at the station are very friendly. Seems like a family business. Note: this gas station is not 24/7. It is open from 6am until midnight everyday.

The fuel bays are well lit at night as I do a walk around of my new vehicle to look for any new scars or marks, while pumping gas. While pumping gas recently, I watched as a guy at an adjacent pump proceed to pull the front of his pants down and piss on the gas pump while he filled his girlfriend's tank with $3.00 of gas! The area is full of trashy people, so If you are traveling through, it's safe to stop here as Howard County police are usually patrolling, but lock your car door once you get out.

In terms of gas pumps, there were a lot of gas pumps, and this location can handle a large rush. Ordered ahead on the app - ordering a steak and cheese ciabatta sandwich, along with a small mac and cheese and a 20oz. Their breads have always been exceptional, and this trip was no exception. The bread was fresh, the order was ready upon entry, and the quality was on-point. The need to fill your tank with fuel definitely can be fulfilled here. There are plenty of pumps, but there are not many parking spots. If you come here for other intentions other than fuel it is best to just park at the pumps and go inside. The inside of this establishment is small. You can tell that this was built in the time where the focus of a gas station was the gas portion and not the convenience portion. I came in here to grab an item, my friend came with me as she wanted to grab some snacks. The shelves were a bit bare with selection. My friend was able to find more than enough things to snack on in here, so I guess you can say that it served its purpose. The gentleman inside seemed less than enthusiastic to be there. Sitting behind the enclosed counter he barely got up. Rang up the items and if you needed a bag would shove it under the window. For the purpose of fuel it probably is a good enough place to stop. For the purpose of snacks and/or essentials, save your time and go elsewhere.
