I received a Buc-ee's dog leash as a gift, and the very first time I used it, it broke. Luckily, I have a good boy and didn't run off, which could have easily turned into a dangerous situation. For something as basic as a dog leash, I would think the quality would be more reliable, and this clearly wasn't. I went back to the store looking for an exchange, not even a refund, and that's where things got super weird and frustrating. I was told by the Manager Miah that without a receipt, nothing could be done. But, in the same conversation, she told me the item would also need to be in "resellable condition." .... HMMMMM.... wait, that doesn't make much sense. Let me get this straight, if the product is defective and broke on first use, how would it ever be resellable? BUuuuuuut if I did have a receipt, suddenly the broken leash is acceptable for exchange? The logic just didn't add up. Miah then insisted on stressing "store policy" and that she could lose her job for making an exception. But isn't store policy to satisfy your customers and provide them with an experience that makes them want to return. That's hard to believe that taking care of a customer over a clearly defective $20 item would be a fireable offense. Come on guys, where is the use of basic common sense. The most disappointing is that I've been a loyal Buc-ee's customer. Every year before visiting family overseas, we spend $100's of dollars on Buc-ee's merchandise, snacks, and gifts to take with us. It's been a tradition, one that ended today. Completely shocked that a company valued at over $2 Billion would choose to stand firm over a $20 defective leash. How about you guys do a better job training management to handle situations like this with a little flexibility and customer-first thinking vs. scaring them into losing their jobs, which loses customers! I used to enjoy shopping at Buc-ee's, but after this experience, I def. will not be back!

That's why they call them Timewoes. It's a good convenience store that's open late at night in the leafy paradise of suburban Katy. You can pay a debit card price, or a little less for a cash transaction per gallon, or a lot less per gallon with a car wash purchase. This is a gas station with a car wash to whereas you are able to get gas cheaper with your gas purchase. You actually get your gas 20 cents less a gallon with that fill up. This is a gas station, with a car wash and a cool ice cream machine. This ice cream machine does infuse flavors in the ice cream mixture, so your ice cream cone comes out looking aesthetically pleasing! Taste is decent as well. There is a huge variety of flavors to choose from. This is a gas station, with a car wash, cool ice cream machine, and a juice bar. You can get smoothies for two dollars any size. I don't really not what that means because I have yet to do that. I saw multiple types of freeze drink options, hot drink options and fountain drink options. They have deals on all those types of drinks. You want iced drinks...they have that latte stuff! You want frappes...that have those to. Their lattes go hot as well. They even have snow cones here. I am from New Orleans, so I run from "snow cones." Either snoballs or nothing! This is a gas station, with a car wash, cool ice cream machine, juice bar and a hot food place that serve taqueria food items, burgers, chicken and pizza. I have not tried anything here, but I see there are various amounts of deals throughout the place. Overall, this place has a lot of stuff for many types of personalities. Their drink freezer goes from Arizona drinks to liquor of various sorts. You will find good deals on drinks, foods and desserts here.
