We're…read morenot talking hotdogs and crappy attempt in Mexican food, I'm talking about legit food that is prepared and sold in gas stations. I started coming to this gas station Because it tends to be quicker to get in and out of when we are driving back to the east side of the mountains. The guys that work here are always incredibly friendly and do a great job of keeping the place clean, well lit and, they tend to have gas that's about a penny cheaper than the other guys. To my eternal delight, they pointed out that they have Indian food for sale. Some of the best Indian food I've ever had came from a small gas station in Yakima, when an Indian family bought it and the mom started cooking. That appears to be what's going on here as well! The Indian gentleman who run the place seem to be Family or friends, and do an incredible job on all fronts. That now includes the Indian food! There's a freezer, now two or three, in the back of the restaurant that has 15 or 20 different restaurant quality Indian dishes. We sampled, goat, lamb, chicken, paneer (Indian cheese), and vegetable options. Everything we've had here, including the bagged garlic naan, has been amazing! We will grab two of the entrées and a bag of non-, and it feeds us for a couple of meals. It taste like somebody's mom or wife made it, and everything is legitimately worth going back for. This has become stop every time we pass by, partly for normal snacks, and increasingly for dinner later. You owe yourself to check the place out!

They have an air machine if you need to add air to your tires. Inside the convenience store is surprisingly well stocked, and the prices there were comparable with larger gas stations. I was kind of expecting Bodega style pricing as there aren't a ton of convenience stores in the area, but they don't take advantage of you here which is commendable. The only downside was that the employees seemed utterly disengaged from their jobs. I went here on successive days as I was staying at the hotel across the street, and every time I went in there were two employees on duty, and neither of them barely looked up from their phones to take my money.

So I stick to the product I can see the price for. The woman at the register was super friendly and nice. She helped some of the customers in the lobby with the coffee area when they had questions and then quickly rang me out with a smile on her face. Would return for a snack run :)

We had no idea this place was here and with good reason - it's a little ways off the path! Driving up to snoqualmie and stopping for non-fast food, we happened across this spot when we were looking for both a bathroom and an energy drink - win! It's an easy in and out spot with a standard selection of beverages and snacks. If the places down the road are super busy, or if you're heading to snoqualmie falls or the nearby Wallaby farm (It exists!), you'll go right past this stop and if you're in need of a stop, it's worthwhile.

This filling station is an improvement, to my way of thinking. They have something like 6 lanes and 18 pumps to fill up under a covered canopy. One way in and one way out keeps the cars moving. If you shop at Kroger stores you can use your points for discounts on gas. I got a 50 cent per gallon discount last time I filled up, which probably means I spend way too much money on groceries. They have the normal convenience store items too, in outdoor covered racks. It's a good addition to the Fred Meyer property, much like the Costco gas setup a few miles away. As gas stations go, I'd have to say it's above average. It's close to the freeway ramps, which is convenient too. Get some gas, some snacks and get back in that nasty 405 traffic. As with Taco Bell, I give them money, and they give me gas.
