It's obvious when you speak with them, that they want you to be satisfied with your purchase and happy with your hobby. They want to earn your repeat business. They have mine. Started going 20+ years ago when Phil was still the owner, and Brian a "newbie". Now, I got into a new hobby, and Brian made sure I got the right start, by giving me honest opinions and helping me make an intelligent start, without a large investment. I had so much fun, I brought my son in, as well as a few co-workers who are all excited about their new hobbies. Brian and his staff helped me with replacement parts, and helpful suggestions, as I learned the ins and outs of the hobby. They even examined my equipment when I was having difficulty troubleshooting. Now I'm ready to go to the next level, and a larger investment in my newfound hobby. Brian was right there with invaluable information and offering to help with any questions I may have. I could have purchased through some online store, but I will always go to Phil's first, before purchasing elsewhere. The group of players who show up choose what kind of draft They play. The staff is expert on the game, the cards, and the rules. They literally have 100,000 individual cards for sale as well as booster packs, complete boxes of expansions sets, and pre-made decks. They also have an online store with an excellent reputation for selling cards that are exactly as described on condition and prices are up to the minute on market value. I played magic back in the 1990s and 2000s. The cards and the rules have gone through enough mutations that it will take me a while to get back up to speed. Titan Cards And Games is the best place to do it because the experts are willing to answer any question. I spent a half hour picking the brain of one of the guys there and I was amazed at his knowledge and patience. All the staff have played Magic for years. Josh, Zain and Acker were extremely helpful in scaling back what we thought we needed (we were a bit overzealous). There is an impressive selection of board games for sale. They even have large tables and comfy chairs available if you'd like to try out the game before you buy it. Who does that? Everyone is so nice and helpful. You can easily spend an entire day there. A team of two came to our place that same week, re-roped the flagpole efficiently and provided enough clips (appropriately spaced) for us to get three flags waving in the breeze! Since it went faster than I expected, the price for the amount of time needed to do the work seemed a bit high, but I have not dealt with anything flagpole related before to have any other costs to compare it to. The owner was very kind and welcoming and made us feel at home from the moment we walked in. He had a nice selection of wax and Topps apparel, but his selection of PSA graded cards was off the chart! I had never seen so many for sale in one store! I settled on a PSA 10 Junior Caminero auto RC and was extremely happy with the price. I made a point to call the shop owner when we returned to North Carolina and tell him just how special his shop is, and he was equally as kind and appreciative as he was the day we were there.
