In the meantime, he received a text alert which asked him if he tried to spend $151.00 at Pilot?? He answered "no" to the text. When done pumping he went inside to report that he was alerted to a $151.00 attempted charge that he declined and wanted the station to know what card and the amount, for reference. They said it does it all the time??? So it takes one card, no problem, but then another it tries to pre-charge $151.00 and says "see cashier" and the station thinks that's fine? Unacceptable. Since he answered the text that he did not attempt a $151.00 charge, his card is now canceled, and he has to wait for replacement in the mail. Be aware -- do not try to use Capital One apparently at this station for some ODD reason. Never had this experience with this card at any other gas station --ever!
