Well, they sure do run out of stuff. A lot. Sometimes I'll notice that they're out of a common item such as salted peanuts, a particular candy bar, or one of those prepackaged Starbucks drinks. I'll stop in again a few days later, and the same shelves are empty. I'll return again a week later, and most of the same items will STILL be absent.
A few days ago, this station ran out of gas as a dozen motorists were pumping away (NOT the first time this has happened.) There was only one employee working at the time. Really?!? A gas station with 20 pumps and a convenience store at a major intersection only needs one person working there? I watched as this poor dude frantically tried to explain the situation to a bunch of angry customers, while trying in vain to reach the store manager, assistant manager, anybody!
There's been a lot of employee turnover here. Most of the people I've met who are working there have actually been very helpful, so I suspect the problem may be with management or ownership....
Right now, this is not a good gas station. It's in a great location, and has a nice layout with plenty of space, so it certainly COULD be good... I really hope things get better here, since it's the most convenient place for me to gas up on a regular basis.... read more
