I was totally shocked at this behavior. It makes me question the training the girl received! I'm not sure I want to shop at this location anymore. The young girl that was left to serve the remaining customers was embarrassed by the behavior but continued on like a trooper!

Giant Eagle, by far, has the best gas reward program of any other grocery store in central Ohio. I don't remember off of the top of my head what the exchange rate for food bought to gas price is but it's pretty good. I usually can get 70 cents a gallon knocked off right away from one weekly shopping trip. I can save the gas points up or I can cash them in right away. They stay for quite a while so there's no hurry to use them up. The only draw back to this one location is that it's small and congested so it's not uncommon to get wedged in from other cars or have to so some tight maneuvering to get out and away from the other people looking for cheap gas. That's minor though when getting cheap gas. Cheap gas rules!
