BUT 3 separate times months apart and different pumps this happened: When I pump gas I try to be cautious. I open my gas door & remove the cap. Next I place the nozzle in the filler neck of my vehicle. After that perform my purchase. (That way if gas runs out or anything happens the pump nozzle is in a secure location.) As soon as the purchase goes through. Before my hand even touches the gas nozzle I've been charged up to .35 cents! It just instantly rolls the money. I went in and told the attendant. The first time they said the person before me empties the hose...I know better than that. The other times thay said "Sorry about that" but not one refund. They pretty much didn't care. This has happened 2 other times. Every time the attitude was the same. I called State of Tennessee weights and measures dept. and asked for them to check out this place. They agreed that the pumps sounded defective. They performed a inspection 3 times. After each inspection the DID FIND DEFECTIVE PUMPS! They mail the reporting person the findings of there inspection and actions. After talking with other people several confirmed the same experience. So it wasn't just me. A few cents over on each gas purchase over a few months racks up. Think about how many people get gas there a day. That's a lot of people over a year! And the customer pays the price over and over. If you buy gas here beware! Because they don't care!
