They have a food court with a Dairy Queen/Orange Julius, Wendy's, Taco Bell, and Pizza Hut Express, all with seating. They also have a truck parts store, tourist souvenirs, convenience store items, clothes, and custom truck parts. The place was really clean, especially considering how many people go through there. You will find an actual tractor-trailer truck in the auto parts section of the truck stop. There are a lot of photo ops here at the truck stop, including the tractor-trailers and other vehicles inside, and murals and antique gas pumps outside. There is also a truck museum across the parking lot that is free to visit, but is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. I came here on a Monday, so of course it was closed. If you are coming into or leaving Iowa, this is a must-stop. This place is amazing and has just about everything. The staff there was very friendly too. Located at the junction of interstate 280 and US 61 South this was a long time coming it was needed near the Davenport South West part of the city. This one has a very large truck parking lot scales. Like many of the newer Kwik centers there are showers a TV room unfortunately the TV does not work they can't seem to get the service hooked up properly but they're trying. This one has a good Wi-Fi Like all the other KS has the beer cooler and all the stuff you come to expect from Kwik Star the fresh deli the hot food the pizzas the Frozen the full convenience store great coffee. the free ATMs no fee(your bank May charge different) I came in got myself some nice hot two pieces of dark meat chicken tonight leg and a thigh, some mashed potato side with gravy and I was kind of hungry so I also opted for the cheesy filled breadsticks with some marinara sauce cup. Wash it down with a 28 Oz Powerade zero sugar grape. Very very clean although it's still new but most of these Kwik trips and Kwik Stars that you come to know especially the newer travel centers do a great job of catering to everybody. So no need for an extensive review it's like any other Kwik Star travel center but very well kept.

Today they picked up the snowblower at 10:30 a.m. and had it repaired and delivered back to my home by 12:30 p.m. Wow, what great service! Brought my car in because the brakes went to the floor, they replaced the back brakes and said I had a bad caliber, they told me the price and although it was expensive, I agreed because I needed to get it fixed. When I picked up my car, the price was a lot more than what was quoted. And the brakes still go to the floor. So still dangerous to drive and manager didn't seem to care. They also had added a brake kit on there that was $11.09, I was charged $110.90. clearly added a zero behind it. Didn't read right on my invoice. When I called about it, I got an agent that didn't listen and didn't speak clear English. She just kept asking if I wanted to make an appointment. I told her I needed to talk to a manager and she put me on hold and told me the manager was with a customer and will call me back. I waited an hour. I called back and I was told that the manager was still with a customer. So I decided to drive up to the store only to find out that it was closed for the day. Not once did the agent that answered the phone tell me they were closed but lied to me and told me the manager was with a customer all 3 times I called. I did call the next day and the manager said the invoice was wrong but then said they charged 110.90 for new lug nuts. And he isn't sure why it was billed under a brake kit. Never apologized, never tried to make it right and honor the invoice. Over $700 for back brakes, one caliber and "lug nuts" ! I called the Davenport store just to see what they would tell me and I asked how much for the same service and the guy was extremely nice and gave me a breakdown and even said you can bring in your own lug nuts if you would like to save money! That is honest!! The only reason I even went there was because my lug nuts were stuck and I couldn't get them off, otherwise I could have done the work myself. So disappointing that there was no communication! That is poor business taking people for as much as you can and not being upfront and honest! Had they been honest and quoted the correct price with the breakdown BEFORE the work, and maybe if the brake pedal still didn't hit the floor after paying all that money, then I would have something nice to say!!
