The gas is usually cheaper than the Circle K across the street, so I'm not sure why they don't have as many customers! But what stood out here wasn't the place itself, it was the interaction inside. The gentleman working the counter was genuinely friendly in a way you don't always get at a stop like this. He noticed my New England accent right away and actually paused to ask about it. That turned into a short, easy conversation that made the whole stop feel a little more human than transactional. It wasn't anything big or dramatic, just one of those small exchanges that sticks with you because it breaks the usual rhythm of these quick roadside stops. Store itself was clean, well-stocked for what you'd expect, and easy in and out. Four stars mostly because of that interaction. The place does its job, but that bit of friendliness elevated it more than it probably should have.

Like I carry enough cash to fill up a pickup! :O There is an entrance off Coffee Pot that makes it easy to get in and out at a light. The business next to it is being remodeled so there are tarps hanging on the fence around the perimeter making it hard to see the station from the other side of the street. Conoco seems like a decent place to fuel up. I just did the transaction for fuel at the pump so did not go inside. This review is just for the ease of getting gas. I would definitely return if in the area.

Problem with Roberts…read moreis on weekends they allow motor cycle gangs to hang out, stand around, smoke, cuss, gun their motor and being it is not just bikes, but truck/cars with loud exhausts and it appears no one inside cares. I watched the place a few night from across the road in the gravel lot and seen a half dozen vehicles pull in go to the pumps, get out, look around; not at the price, but at the number of people hanging around, and the got in their vehicles and left. I cannot understand why Roberts allows this....do cycles purchase that much fuel, I would imagine a lot of candy bars, cigarettes, etc, but fuel? I doubt it. And I wonder, are those cigarettes they are smoking? Yes, I could call the PV police; however, we all know who live in PV, the PV police are not, shall I say, the greatest PD. Sad part is if they did come out and hang around outside or Roberts, they could write a dozen or so ticket for excessive noise and speeding.
