After a long conversation, he finally agreed to cover the repairs and mentioned that he appreciated my business, as I had been bringing my car there for over 10 years. However, it has now been over a year since the incident, and one of the employees has told me that I can no longer bring my cars there, even though I have continued to come back, spending my money there, trusting their services, and relying on them for my vehicle's maintenance. I tried to pump gas twice today, and the pump simply was not working. I went inside and the clerk was sitting in his chair scrolling on his phone. I asked if he could check what might be wrong with the pump. Instead of helping, the clerk immediately responded in a very dismissive tone telling me that I "have to put the handle in the tank" -- as if I didn't know how to pump gas. I explained that I had already tried twice, and his response was even more dismissive: "That's your problem." I could have gone to another pump but my cc was already read by the pump I am a business owner myself, and this is absolutely not how you speak to customers.
