The trash cans are usually empty and the windshield washes are always full. I like that they give you a discount if you pay cash. Sign up for fuel rewards and it gets a little more cheaper. There's a shaded area to park at over my the tire inflator to walk to dog, rest, or enjoy those road snacks.

While squeezing the front windshield a larger, balding, Caucasian-appearing male, wearing glasses, came outside and said in an accusatory tone, "Are you planning to get gas here, bc that's not free (the squeegee)." This specific Chevron's complementary squeegee, by the gas pumps, is not free, yall. Don't get it twisted! SMH. To the gentleman/employee who just barked at me:, how many people come in there on a daily basis to squeegee their windshield and then don't purchase gas? Is it like a "dine and dash" sort of situation? Are people attempting to wash their cars with your squeegees? Are there a lot of people out there with malicious intent coming to use your squeegee and not reimbursing you for such? You had two, or maybe three people by the pumps. It was 11:15 AM. Was it necessary to bark at a POTENTIAL customer, because you chose to assume the worst, even at the sake of losing that customer? I WAS a repeat customer here, but there are way too many gas stations in Escondido to choose from for me to ever have to return to this location. Awful first time experience! The first time I come to this store. Liz (Elizabeth) was extremely…read morerude and dismissive over a plastic bag. I did have several items but I never get plastic bags and I didn't ask. She didn't ask if I wanted one and then was asking me to pay for the bags. Simple, I just took the items out of the bag. Plus, I was paying with EBT so I should not have been charged for the bags. I asked her what was wrong, not being rude or disrespectful, she said just get out. I asked her why she was upset when I didn't do anything to her and she said to never come back to the store. Like...WHAT?!! I did nothing. I just didn't want the plastic bags. My husband and I went in for snacks and sweet tea on our way home. I talked to the manager and he seemed to not care. He kept making excuses for her which is unacceptable. He said he would look at the camera to see what happened. While I was talking to him, she, Liz, was smiling and rolling her eyes, again, completely unprofessional and disrespectful. Why even hire people like her to push away first time customers? She barely said a word, and when she did she was extremely inappropriate.
