However I can comment on just stopping by to grab some drinks or a snack! This location is super clean compared to many nearby and the staff are always nice but not overly friendly. I never feel like I'm being taken for hostage with tedious conversation when all I want to do is grab my drinks and go! I pop in here mainly for my bad girl drinks. Basically Coke Zero's and Bang energy drinks. I have started this water drinking thing so I still make myself drink the amount of water I need in a day, but allow myself treats now and then... Anyone who is a fan of the drink knows it's a great deal. I wish they had the keto version but the regular is about 6 net carbs so a great stand in if you need it. Which I do, because I am currently rocking a bunch of stitches in my gob and chewing isn't my current movement of the moment if you get me. Parking is pretty easy and they sell firewood. Not sure why the firewood would matter but I thought I'd note it. The area with fresh snacks is always neat and tidy. They have a lot of different items a keto devotee could use to survive. They were two grown perfectly capable men not capable of emptying a trash can alone. One was holding a trash bag and they in tandem emptying trash cans. I turn around to pump gas. All of a sudden I hear 2 grown men screaming "Mam" in a chorus as if they were one unit. I didn't turn because the gas station was full of people and they were screaming from ten feet away. Finally I turned and they screamed at me "could you move" but the car had already driven by. Then they kept loudly coming by my pump and saying "have a nice day" in voices and tones that basically meant anything but. Upsetting my dog. I think this is pretty typical behavior for them. And I would not employ them at any Costco or anywhere they interact with a customer.

I hate that any AMPMs only accept debit which forces you to pay that extra .35 cents or so. I won't come here late at night when I'm off work after midnight, it's gets pretty sketchy and there's only one entrance/exit so it's not my late night choice for getting gas. The manager is always there and seems to always be making sure everything's stocked up. There's a guy who works there and his makeup and nails are always looking better than mine! Maybe don't come here during the lunch rush, but all in all its a good station that I'll keep coming back to.

Then he tried to get me to have my headlights cleaned. Next he tried to act like he was giving me a deal to have my headlights and $50 wash done for over $100. What the hell! Why can't I just get a $22 wash and be done?! My car took no time at all to get "cleaned". I didn't time it or anything, but it was really quick. Two people were waiting before I walked in and I got my car first. The pictures are of how badly my car was "cleaned". I'm taking them in the parking lot of my doctor's office. I have a lot to do today. If I didn't have a full day of appointments scheduled; I would have demanded a re-clean. I don't have the time to go back. This is ridiculous! How can they charge $50 for this. I could take so many more pictures, but I have an appointment to get to. Do not trust this place. I should have looked at the Yelp comments before going. As far as Gas Stations go, this Chevron really deserves a fair word…read more Sure it was closed for a while but they reopened a year or so ago and it's now a reliably A-OK place to fill your tank and shop for snacks when you exit West on I-5 to La Costa Ave. It's awesome that the credit card prices for this station's gas are actually the same as the "discounted" cash only prices at the Mobil Station located approx. 1/2 mile South on 101 in Leucadia! What's also COOL about this place is that many of the people who stop here are locals and are cheerfully willing to initiate a friendly conversation while you are filling up. At first this unnerved me, since I moved to the area from SF and LA, as I mistakenly thought that I was gonna be "jacked" when complete strangers began speaking to me. My initial responses were therefore pretty taciturn as I discreetly began un-clipping the lil ol pepper spray canister in my pocket! What's NOT COOL is that the entrances/exits to this station are on a road that quickly merges from two lanes to one and certain douche-bag drivers will "floor it" in to the merging lane unaware that there are also cars trying to enter and leave the station.
