My daughter wanted a pack of gum at the register, but realized she only had $1 and needed $1.17 more. I took out my wallet to cover her for the cost, and Jailin, the cashier, refused to take my money and told my daughter he will pay for it and all he asks in return in that she get good grades. He said this with a big friendly smile, and truly made our day. THIS deserves a shout out, and I'll be sharing this with the Mapco Corporate Office. Kudos to Jailin and all the great staff at this location!

Most have a "Failed Inspection" tag attached. This past week only two 87 octane pumps were available causing lines to wait. In addition, for at least a year or more the pumps were extremely slow taking about three times the typical fill time. This is the only brand name station in the area which is all I use so it's very frustrating. The station number (I think) is FG01110765001 and it'd address is 5585 Highway 431 Owens Cross Roads, AL 35763. I have mentioned this to the sales staff and they are aware of the issue from past complaints. Thanks for listening.

A year ago…read morethis was a beautiful new store with new pumps that had soapy water to clean windshields and towels to dry off with sanitizer for your hands. The inside was pristine. I walked in to water on the floor by the soda fountain which was closed I guess due to the water on the floor. I walked around the puddle thinking someone should clean that up to prevent folks from slipping and to keep the spread of water to a minimum. There were three employees at the registers and one by the drink coolers so they did have more than two employees in the store. The great news is the outdoor printers worked at the gas pump! It was very crowded inside and outside. Be careful walking in the parking lot.
