I've come to realize just how varying in quality a gas station can be, and how my driving stress level goes up due to that quality. That being said, this is one of the best Shell stations I have been to. Being a Fuel Rewards member I try to use Shell where and when I can, and this station unlike most others in the area had all their pumps functional, the paper towels and windshield cleaner was all full and not packed with leaves and debris and more to my surprise, the screens on the pumps were clean. The terminal I was at worked properly, didn't have any long needless delays in processing, and given the layout being in a long row instead of a weird L shape or otherwise packed together, navigating into the pump was painless and quick. It was also raining at the time and there didn't appear to be any leaks in the roof which as most of us know how aggravating that can be having to stand under a leaky roof at the pump. Overall, this was one of the best Shell stations in the Boulder/Longmont area.

But when I have needed to stop here , the customer service has been outrageous. There is one employee, I'm not sure of his name, who is very nice and always attentive. Everyone else is constantly in the back room when service is needed and can take up to 5 minutes for anybody to come to the register to help. There has been a line to the door with people shouting and when they finally come out not even an apology. They look annoyed that we are there to buy their goods and use their services. People stop at gas stations for a quick and convenient solution to their needs, and this Circle K fails to do so adequately. I recommend driving the extra block to the Conoco down the street.

The music is often fun and upbeat to accompany you while you shop. Today I dropped in for some ice to keep the booch and brews safe on my long drive Westward. The ice chest is conveniently located just outside the entrance - however it is locked due to recent thefts. The lady staffer didn't blink an eye after I payed for my ice and together we headed out towards the ice chest (I had imagined that this task may be annoying, especially on a busy holiday weekend - definitely not the case here). I'll definitely be back for the great service and deals on sweet eats.
