This playground is fantastic with colorful structures, different types of slides, swings, ladders and plenty of other cool structures to climb on. Although there is not a toddler specific section, there is a slightly smaller structure where toddlers can certainly play, as well as a couple of toddler swings. The entire play area is situated on soft wood chips and half of the perimeter houses benches, square metal picnic tables with seats on all sides as well as large wooden tables. There is a trash barrel and, near the entrance, a porta potty. There is plenty of parking. This free park closes at dawn. Dogs are NOT allowed.

Previously part of the Tyngsborough Country Club, it opened as a park in 2025. It is a nice place…read moreto walk, play pickleball, basketball, volleyball, shuffleboard and bocce. Most of these can be reserved, but they are typically open and available for just showing up. There is a paved walking/jogging path that runs the perimeter of the park, which in nice weather is available. During the winter the path was not cleared. There are events in the clubhouse (usually crafts, for a fee) and they offered summer series concerts outdoors in the summer last year. There is a covered area with a few tables where I have seen folks with balloons having showers and birthday parties. There is also frisbee golf, but last year, no tick treatment, so be prepared with repellent, etc. There are doggie receptacles, but more often than not, no bags, so best to bring a supply with you. The path is nice, but narrow. If someone is pushing a stroller, it is challenging to pass if you are walking/jogging. The Clubhouse is nice, open during certain hours, and where they house the craft events and other gatherings. Even when not open, there are 4 rocking chairs on the outside porch which are available all the time. There is a little putting green, on the river side, but I've never seen anyone using it. The short path to the green is not maintained, walking through a little bit of grass/weeds is required to access. Plenty of parking, both paved and gravel. Outdoor port a potty available. Closes at dusk.

If you're not familiar with the area, finding where you actually need to park might be frustrating…read more The directions I got from Google (along with a couple of street signs) pointed us to the Rock Rimmon soccer field, which is not accessible (there's an actual gate that's closed), leaving you wondering how you actually get to the park. We went back East on Bremer streets for 6 blocks and found park access on the left. If you're GPSing or getting directions online, I would look up "Dupont Pool" instead of Rock Rimmon Park. Anyway, once my girlfriend and I got there, we found a large pool, a tennis court, a basketball court, and a playground. No picnic tables though, which was kind of a bummer, since we brought food. But we just plopped down in the grass and ate. After we ate, we went through the trail. At first, it looked like it was going to be somewhat of a climb, but once we started, it really wasn't bad. You definitely notice a lot of litter, including broken glass, and vandalism; mostly from chalk. Most of the chalk writing is fine but there is some stereotypical, childish, vandalism there too. However, the view from atop of the rock is very pretty. We got lots of great pictures, and enjoyed just sitting with our feet dangling off the edge. The temperature was great out, so it was really relaxing. It was a good experience, but it strikes me as a place that I might only visit once again.

Was in town on business with a few hours to spare and found this park on my GPS. I saw it was…read moremoderately-sized and near a body of water, usually good things for city green space. The parking lot was small, but there was a fairly new playground and play area for kids, places to sit for parents, and a big open field for open recreation. Lack of shade structures and restrooms around the playground was a surprise and I'm not sure there was even a water fountain, but I didn't look for one either. Heading off into the woods, I found quite a few well-marked trails meandering around the hillside and down to the lakefront. On the water was one tree with steps nailed into the trunk and a rope swing attached. I'm not sure if it's even safe to swing into the water at that point, but on a hot summer day, I'd be hard pressed not to. There are houses around the lake with boat docks, so I'm sure the water's safe to swim in. Overall a pretty decent park with play areas and shaded hiking paths, even a few good fishing perches on the lakefront. I'd go again to kill an hour or so.

The farm stand is seriously overpriced. For instance, a cup of grain for the animals is $5.00 whereas at Red Apple Farm in Massachusetts it is only $1.00. People must get mad at the prices and try to make up for it by stealing because there was a lock on the toilet paper in the portable toilet.
