Okay so I called this dentist to schedule an appt for my 7 yr old but the receptionist is rude as…read moreever, telling me my son is not allowed back because (as she put it..) "he's hurting other kids" when he misses an appointment... in 2015!! I remember it was snowing when he missed his appointment, THEY WERE CLOSED, they're delusional. Not to mention he was 2 yrs old at the time. She even said my current 2 yr old can't come even though he's never been, saying they've dismissed the entire family! WTF. I DO NOT RECOMMEND at all being that the damn dentist wasn't worth a flip anyways.. Actually a zero star rating.. if it were applicable

We just had a very negative experience with this office today and would not recommend it for…read moreanyone. My 4 year old had a tooth chip and our dental insurance gave us a waiver to seek emergency dental treatment at the nearest pediatric dentist in the area versus having to go to an in-network provider. After making the appointment and explaining the situation to the office (and providing them with all of my insurance information) I received a call back later in the day from the dental office telling me that they were not in our network. I then had to contact my insurance company back and obtain a reference number to give to the dental office to verify that my daughter would receive treatment and that my dental insurance would agree to cover it. Today, after the appointment, it seems like the dental office never contacted our insurance. My wife took my daughter and it was never explained to her why my daughter was denied treatment today (although still billed for a consultation). After receiving a call from my wife I contacted our insurance company who intervened with the dentist's office. The insurance company was told by the dental office that my wife chose to not have my daughter receive treatment today because she did not want to pay the full fee in advance before reimbursement and had decided to pursue treatment somewhere else, which was not true. My insurance suggested that the dentist's office simply did not understand that they were providing a waiver to cover out-of-network services. My wife says a conversation about payment options did not happen between her and the dental office. Upon contacting the dentist's office to ask about this and ask why my daughter didn't receive treatment I was first told that they didn't know that we wanted to pursue treatment today. After being put on hold briefly I was then told that they decided that the treatment plan would be to provide an antibiotic (which did happen) and then that the treatment would be provided at a later date. This treatment path would have made sense, but first why was it never explained to my wife and secondly, then why was my insurance company told that my wife declined treatment for my daughter today? I feel that a mistake was made with the dental office misunderstanding what my insurance company was offering and that the dental office offered us two conflicting explanations after the mistake was pointed out: One to the insurance company and one to myself and my wife. It does not relate to the above incident but they also have a policy of not allowing parents of children over 3 in the dental area.

I always had good experiences at the dentist growing up (maybe because I never had a cavity until 40) but I have some friends with trauma from their childhood dentist experiences. Here they making everything calm but playful for both regular appointments but also this recent experience with a filling. They Explained all of it so nothing is a surprise, but they use kid friendly terms. They teach you about that before hand so you can use them too! They used laughing gas and a movie to help the little ones stay still and calm. They also took time to talk directly to my son about his habits and help him be informed instead of just me. He took it really seriously and on his own stopped eating an Apple right before bed (after brushing teeth) and changed his routine based on what he planned with Dr. Jason and he's just 4.5! I saw a review about billing being poor but I have always had great experiences with them!

I was told he would be seen faster if he was placed on a cancellation list and did not need to schedule a new appt. I called 6 months later asking where we were on that list and was told there was no such thing as a cancellation list and I should have made an appt. I was then told the next available is in August, an entire year later. This Dr is amazing but obviously prioritizes more patients over current ones.
