There is also a place to recycle old batteries, electronics, paint and old flags. Closed on Mondays and Sundays. Along the sidewalk there is a free shelf where anyone can take or leave items that can still be used. You can even request items on the bulletin board. Mary is very nice and always there. She also runs the Recycling Center for the Arts. This room inside of the building has a ton of free resources and materials for teachers at non-profit schools to take back to their classroom for use. I've been "shopping" there for two years and have stocked my room with many wonderful materials! Businesses can donate to this project as well as individuals.
