When we returned home from our trip and I called the limo service to complain, the owner swore to me that she would issue a refund right away. She not only didn't issue the refund but she overcharged me on both trips. I previously called to question the amount and had to leave a message. No one called me back. I was charged over $900 for round-trip transportation to the airport that actually endangered our lives! Never using this company again!!

Uber and Lyft both charge extra for pets. Michael showed up and helped load everything. Very pleasant man, and when we got to the house, he very kindly lugged my heavy suitcase and backpack up the steps, He even called my dog, who was finally free of the carrier and running ecstatically! Michael gave me his card and said that I could call him from Calverton in future, and he'll be in WHB to get me. How very nice! While I do hope that my brother can pick me up next time, or maybe I'll leave my car at the station, it's very nice to know that I have an option. And Freedom Taxi was cheaper than both Uber and Lyft. Their prices were unreasonable for a short distance.

You get what you pay for. STAY AWAY…read more Two of the worst driver experiences ever. For the trip to the airport, Lawrence E. showed up early and was rushing us the whole time. When we got to the car, instead of saying hi or being professional, he rudely told us we were making him late because he had to go to Smithtown after us. Then, he drove us to the WRONG AIRPORT. For the trip back, I got a text from Damian Smith when we landed, telling us he was running late. I appreciated the heads-up. He said it would be about 35 minutes, which would have been only a short wait for us after getting our bags, but it ended up being over an hour and 40 minutes. We kept checking in with phone calls and texts and he always said he was very close and would be there soon. At one point he said he had stopped to get gas. Then he said he was very close and that we should come outside. So we waited another ten minutes in the cold with our newborn baby after a 2 hour flight and he still wasn't there. I called him and demanded to know where he was, explaining that my newborn was cold and hungry and he hung up on me. Not knowing what else to do, I called the company to complain and cancel the ride. Just as he was pulling up, the company hung up on me. Damian now wants to talk to me "man to man". He said the safety of his passengers is his number one priority and that he had to get his wheel fixed, as if I should have both known that was what was really going on, and that I should have been grateful that was the reason he was late, instead of doing the right thing and letting us and the company know so other arrangements could be made. He denied hanging up on me. And felt he had to explain that he was in the right because the wheel needed to be fixed. He also told us he had to drive to Canada the next day. When he got us home, he said "See? You're home safe." As if he was a hero. Worst experience ever.
