We vacation in old orchard every summer. This was our first time at Sheila's. The store was across the street from our hotel so we went there a lot. The owner was awesome! She is super friendly and was great to our 9 year old daughter. So much so that my daughter keeps asking when we can see Sheila again. I accidently tipped them 74 dollars on a bill, they caught it and made sure I was refunded. Super honest, great people here! We were headed on vacation to OOB and this place was recommended to us, specifically to get the cinnamon buns. We stopped in early in the morning to get those and some breakfast sandwiches. We loooove Shelias!!! The staff was super friendly, no matter what time of day we went. Especially julia!!! This is officially our store now for any time we visit the area, we visiting from Boston (not revere). We got delicious breakfast sandwiches, they even had fresh cinnamon bund out of the oven. A couple of wraps while we were relaxing on the beach. Food was good quality, which is hard to find here. Plus they are loaded with the little things. Definitely check them out. read more

Great little corner market with all your basic beach essentials! Stopped in on Sunday afternoon for some refills and a quick bite. We ordered the avocado toast, hot dog, and a veggie panini. Also got some chips and mini Prosecco. Definitely a little more on the expensive side but totally worth the convenience of walking right over from the beach and the owner was super friendly. Had a great conversation about her being up here for the season before going back to MA which is where we drove up from. Will def restock up here again next year! @azfitfoodfun read more

This is a cute little general store, located a little under a mile from the beach. It was directly across from our cottage. They have a good breakfast with coffee. It's more breakfast to go. The one reason why I give it five stars is that this place has the best lobster rolls on the beach! Don't miss the opportunity to get one here. read more

Has been a family favorite spot forever, still great food and general convenience on vacation. The guys who used to be behind the counter every day were a delight. The older woman working behind the register today (8/16/2024) could not possibly be less pleasant or more rude. Will turn around and walk the other direction anytime I see her. I hate to leave a review anywhere but this person actually just threw my food on the stairs while I was patiently waiting around the window where I was asked to sit. Real bummer. read more

I enjoyed this place so much I came here three days in a row for lunch! I'm obsessed with the veggie panini! The bread tastes so crisp and fresh, it makes the sandwich for me! The vegetables on top were also so flavorful- it really was a good quality sandwich. There's a lot of options between salads, wraps, and sandwiches so you can find any sort of thing you'd like. After years of getting great food and service, I ran across the rudest female employee (Owner??) while placing an order via phone. Got hung up on twice, when asking for a price was told "we're too busy for that, we will do that when you get here." I decided I was "too busy" to continue to support this local business. I hope they choke on my order I did not pick up. read more

We were so happy to find Sheila's general store while staying at the Friendship Oceanfont Suites at old Orchard Beach. We walked two minutes to pick up our breakfast after we called it in. Been going to OOB many many years and have frequented this establishment often however this time not quite as good as previous years. We got there early for coffee and breakfast sandwiches the sandwiches were obviously premade and not up to the standards we usually would have at Sheila's . Such a great little shop & deli. We arrived right next door on Saturday for a week's vacation and we thought 'great - a place to get ice'. But it so much more as the sign touts. The place is constantly busy. The staff is soooo friendly & nice. Prices are good and their sandwiches are yummy! Highly recommend the lobster roll. Tonight we ran over for shredded cheese; when they didn't have any, they offered to shred us some! Haven't had the coffee yet but they are almost as busy as Dunks. Must be good! Walked here from the pier - a perfect distance for a lunch walk. We both had lobster: one the pannini, one the roll, and both were excellent! I'd rate the pannini the best. Friendly folks - they offered to make a lobster salad even though it wasn't on the menu. Plus a small nice seating area outside. Better than the mob scene at the pier for sure! read more
