I went in here to by a new briar pipe today and I was pretty impressed. The guy that helped me out was friendly and knowledgable and I was impressed by the way he handled me as a female customer buying a pipe, most treat me like I know nothing. They had a pretty good selection of pipes, a little less than I had expected from seeing their flashy display window outside which was like something you'd see at a fancy jewellery store only full of pipes and cigars, but still a good selection. Prices are pretty good, I paid $180 for a #23 Acadian Series Brigham, though they had cheaper pipes available as well roughly starting at about $45. Tobacco selection was good too and overall they had everything I needed/wanted. I definitely walked away a happy customer and I will shop there again. read more

To whom it may concern, I would like to complain about the recent customer service I received at your Chinook store. I went in last week to purchase a Christmas gift for my husband, explaining that I was on a tight budget given that we have a new baby. I bought a cigar cutter mentioning that my husband had lost his recently, I joke that he will probably find it now that I've bought a new one. At no point did the salesperson tell me there is not a return policy, and would not be able to return the item. There is no information on the receipt for exchanges or returns, only a small sign near the ceiling by the till. This was pointed out to me today when I tried to return the cutter but was not mentioned at the time of purchase. I am very disappointed in the customer service I received at the store, being on a budget I cannot afford to lose $50 to use at a later time. Unfortunately I also bought a butane lighter for my husband, something else I would want to return as a result of the service I received today, but that obviously will not happen either. I was given a gift cards to use at a later time, and once those are spent, I will never return, I will never give a good review for this business and I will tell many people as I possibly can. I personally work for a reputable customer service business, and frankly it is not hard to do the right thing. read more

I actually went to the one in Chinook, but I couldn't find a page for it. Pros: Very atmospheric, the staff knew their stuff and were very helpful. I am not a smoker, so I can't comment on the price or selection, but to a non-smoker the selection of everything looked pretty good. Cons: BUYER BEWARE. They have a very specific return policy, and they have it posted in the shop, but the shop didn't go out of their way to impart on me the return policy. I'm not blaming them for my ignorance, but they only give you store credit and only within 7 days with a receipt. I spent $150 on an e-cigarette for a family member, and it turns out they had tried an e-cig recently and not liked it. I now have $150 of in-store credit, which isn't the worst thing in the world, but as a non-smoker I will never shop there again for tabacco products read more

Probably one of the cheaper cigar stores in Calgary that I have been to so far, considering it's in a Mall, friendly service, average selection but as mentioned you will get a better price for your stogies here for what they have. read more

No return policy. Not good. I bought a carton of cigs for a present for my wife's brother's arrival from korea. Found out after he had arrived that he had quit smoking. read more

Awesome place in the mall. Whoever was at the register was nice enough to show me what cigars he sold. Ended up giving me two free cigars for me to try. Super polite and a great experience! read more

After the worst after-sale service at the Chinook store, I finally get an excellent serivice from a Lady that knew her job.
