The…read morebar is warm, inviting and friendly although it can often be difficult to find a seat as the bar becomes very busy with hikers and tourists. The meals are delicious, if a little expensive but are all home cooked with fresh local ingredients. The hotel restaurant is a great place to dine, very traditional and comfortable and the service is of a very high standard, it is a great place to drive out to on a warm summers evening. The rooms in the hotel itself are very comfortable, with jacuzzi's if requested and the view up to the castle is magnificent, if a little eerie at night when it is lit up.
