Due to the fact that someone was there "first" we were without 50amp power for 5 nights with temps in the high 90's-100. We had reserved and paid for a 50amp spot. When the "buddy" left we plugged into the 50amp plug, but then another "buddy" pulled in!! Well, we had our RV plugged into the 50 amp and our new neighbor was NOT happy. He actually threatened to unplug us! The front desk and maintenance personnel were very friendly and nice. After complaining about paying for 50amps and not getting it, I was reimbursed $10 a night for the five nights we didn't have the 50amps. The laundry and bathrooms were clean. The location was perfect for our itinerary for the area. I wouldn't recommend this place based on our experience with the electricity as stated above and the daily outages of power. I don't understand why they would keep putting people in the "buddy" spot knowing they can't provide the electricity for it, just seems they are asking for bad reviews and unsatisfied customers.

The showers are super clean and have body soaps. I always use my own but still a nice touch, like staying at hotel. I recommend getting a room with AC in the summer. It was so relaxing and cute. We stayed during the week, I was told that reservations are needed on the weekend during the summer because they have a dinner show and sometimes a band comes and plays. The park is full of mature cottonwood trees. If you have allergies, that may be a consideration.

Fortunately we had good neighbors for the most part, but we could only put our dog out with us on a tether when we didn't have people in the camp next to us. Easy access to the boat launch nearby for fishing. Easy day trips up to Victor, Driggs or Jackson. Even Teton is a reasonable trip. There are restaurants and groceries within 10 miles. The park managers are very helpful. There is some highway noise, but infrequent. A nice stop

Don't know why, anything after 10PM is quite time at pretty much every campground in the world, but not at this place. Come'On Man, fireworks at 1030 PM, some of us are trying to get some rest for an early morning departure. There's plenty of shade at almost all the spots. They have a gift shop/restaurant there. We never checked it out due to me being high risk because of my health. But it looked cool from outside. At that shop you can blow up your rafts too. They must have a compressor outside. The RV sites have FULL HOOKUPS(water,electricity, sewer) . Almost all sites have trees and grass that overlooks the beautiful lake. Your practically on the water. There's also a park to next to the RV sites. The park has a swing set and 3 horseshoe pits. My son really enjoyed that park. The water is kinda chilly but in summer heat it does feel good. They also sell FIREWOOD there too. $5 a bundle. There's also a free shower there and washer and dryer. Bring quarters because they don't have enough to spare for washing. Fishing : they have great fishing there. I didn't get a chance to fish because the way Idaho does there fishing license sucks. It's $18 initial fee and then $5 per day extra. Idaho expects you to say at time of purchase how many days your going to fish for. If you don't say exactly how many days your fishing then you have to pay another $18. I couldn't figure out my fishing schedule because it rained quite a bit when we were there so I would have just wasted my money. BUT I know fishing is good there because I watched people off shore fish and kayak fish and they were catching bass right in front of me with lures. Staff: the campsite host was name Jason. He's a really cool guy with a ZZ Top style beard . He was very professional and helpful. He knew I was high risk health wise and he respected my wishes to social distance every time . As a matter of fact he also helped me go to there gift shop a few times for purchases and got my amazon mail that I had delivered there and he brought everything to my trailer. Jason went out of his way to help us. We truly appreciated him. His son also helps out around the camp. He was super friendly and helpful also. I forget his sons name though. Sorry. Chris who I think is the owner there is also super friendly and helpful too. He was very professional and takes pride in his park . Thanks for everything guys!! You guys definitely made it very relaxing for us to stay there!!! My advice: bring plenty of mosquito spray! You will NEED it! And be careful of walking in the grass bare foot. I think I got hit by a blister beetle there. I got 4 HUGE blisters from either a allergic reaction to mosquitoes or it was a blister bug. We definitely HIGHLY recommend this RV campground and will definitely be back! Thanks again for the wonderful experience!!

There's a nice restroom with shower and flushing toilets. The campsites are kept clean and well cared for by the staff at Willow Bay. Can't wait to go back there this year and do some fishing.
