I love Sheetz and miss it having moved to Hampton Roads where their version is Wawa and it's NOT the same. This Sheetz has always been the staple for me, it's at one of the busiest intersections in the area and I've probably stopped here 1000x at least from the time I was 16 to now. The coffee is great and the bathrooms are in good working order and they have plenty of pumps and parking. Additionally, the sandwiches made to order are really fresh and good. read more

The location was convenient. The parking lot is easy to maneuver. You can fill up one tank and empty another.

I like Sheetz - it's inexpensive, quick, easy and fun to order on a touch screen, etc. After several visits though, I can't help but consider the relative value of Sheetz subs as compared to other local businesses. Cheese costs extra and it's so thin that I feel like I need 3-4 slices just so I can actually taste it, and the tuna and chicken are both a great deal less flavorful than others we've tried. Still, I wouldn't say I'll never go back, because I just might. read more

Comment from a long time customer. More attention needs to be given to the windshield wash stations and trash cans at the pumps. When the wash buckets aren't empty, they are usually filled with trash because the trash cans are full. read more

This place is amazing! I would consider myself a gas station connoisseur (not sure if that makes me sound like a hillbilly, an a-hole, or both). I've spent many a pretty penny on a Polar Pop and a hot dog from a Circle K gas station and look forward to extensive time on the road so I can get in my gas station food fix. Sheetz is made of dreams. And probably brick and mortar and other such building material, but for me, just dreams. The coffee selection is extensive, and dare I say, some of the best coffee I've ever had (though it may have just been the French Vanilla creamer). The kiosk to order food was pretty nifty. And there was no shortage of healthy options either. My husband sprung for ordering some breakfast burritos while I grabbed some yogurt, cheese, and fruit. Luckily, he gave (or I just took) a bite of his breakfast and it was fantastic. Staff was friendly, store was clean. No complaints on those. I was sad that driving northwest out of Virginia to Kentucky, the last Sheetz I saw was in West Virginia. This place needs to be everywhere! read more

The workers here are very churlish with one another some are racist ,very disrespectful to customer's I ask a question to the 1 o'clock crew and they all just mostly followed the leader with the same disrespectful answer . Which was can you break change for me and my response from them all was no not a sorry we can't or anything just no . So waiting and Hr later and sent my friend in which happened to be a a gay white guy gave him change right a way not a negative response nor a wait..smh Must say I will be following up on this in the near future. read more

Not only is sheetz my favorite place to gas up, it's my guilty pleasure when it comes to their made to order food. You can get great discounts with the sheetz card, and the food is sooooo addictive. Try the Wisconsin cheese curds! Their baked goods section near the checkout is my weak spot, so I have to literally run by it before I buy all the no bake nubbins. I've always been treated with a smile at sheetz even when I can tell the cashier or server is overwhelmed or not having a good day. (If I notice one of them is down and out I offer to buy them a candy bar, it's the least I can do.) They pay their employees adequately and it shows, they respect their jobs. I've never been harassed about my service dog there, either, which is always a plus for me. read more

There's no good reason, for anyone, anywhere, to give Sheetz a four star review. Me of all people. Every time I bought a biscuit, cheddar, no egg, they left the egg on. Every single time. But I still love Sheetz. I love Sheetz for the nostalgia of being a college student and having someplace open 24 hours that isn't Ihop within close driving distance. Being able to grab a sandwich or biscuit or drinks at 3 am before finals was a life saver. I love Sheetz because, being the antisocial person I am, sometimes I just don't want to deal with ordering my food from a person. The touch screens for the made to order food and drinks made that simple for me, when I was sick or PMSing or in a hurry. I love Sheetz because a machine that turns a cup of ice cream into a milkshake of my preferred thickness in under a minute is awesome. I love Sheetz because having about 9,000 varieties of coffee or donuts available at all hours is pretty cool for anyone up late or on a road trip. I love Sheetz because there was always something weird and completely unnecessary on sale there. I love Sheetz because they are utter screw ups who put egg on my biscuit. I don't even care. This place is awesome, so I love it. read more

This is your basic Sheetz, nothing really spectacular. One thing tho, the bathrooms are always dirty. So dirty you wanna bring your own Sanitizer just to pee! Other than that. It serves its purpose. Come and go! read more

I've never been to a Sheetz, so we tried it last night. I got a chicken jalapeno sandwich with fries. Got it back to the hotel, and it was SO GOOD. The fries left a little to be desired, but the dipping sauces definitely helped. Definitely good drunk food. read more

I love Sheetz but this is by far the worst one. They run out of food by 6 am, lines are long, and if you want made-to-order coffee, be prepared to wait 15 minutes. The gals behind the food counter are as slow as molasses. We hope to experience better customer service at other Roanoke Sheetz locations. read more

Loveeeee Sheetzzz. I Always Get There Cheesesteak Sub With Extra Meat, Onions, Lettuce and Cole Slaw There Fries Are Great And There Huge Menu Is Amazing. The Food Is Always Hot, And The Wait Time Is Not That Long. Since This Place Is MTO And You Get To Pick Your Own Recipe Dont Expect It To Be The Neatest. I Mean I Got Extra Meat And Cole Slaw On My Cheesesteak So I Was Expecting It To Be A Bit Messy But Some People Will Find A Way To Make Excuses, So If You Dont Like Messy Food Keep The Recipe Light. read more

This sheetz is just like any other sheetz on weekends they close down from 2-4 so that all the people from the bars and clubs don't come in there drunk and cause problems with employees and or customers, they actually lock the door at 1:45 so you better get in before that. I just recently had a run in with the so called security guard that was down there who had no writing anywhere that said he was security. No hat no shirt no jacket no badge nothing that said he was security and he was blocking the door and trying to intimidate me when I was trying to walk in by running his mouth and he called his buddy who was at the other door blocking it to come over to where he was. Little did he know is that I was strapped up and if either one of them would have put their hands on me I would have put 1 in their head and 2 in their heart. I would have been within all my rights seeing as he 1-had nothing saying he was actually security so I had no reason to believe that we he was. 2-he tried to intimidate me before and after when he called his partner over. 3- No of the employees confirmed that they were security and I even knocked on the door and got one of the employees to come to the door and she didn't know who the fuck they were either. So I left and called corporate in P.A. and explained the situation to them and the woman I spoke to said she was going to mark it as important priority so that it was moved to the top quickly because that is not how shit is done on their properties. She took my email and said I would get a response and now im waiting to see what they have to say about it. That was 2 days ago from today. Now they are super slow at making anything I go there for a milkshake and it takes like 30 minutes to even get that. They have undercover police that sit there and try to arrest people coming and going by solicitation. They go around asking certain looking people( you know what I mean) for different drugs.You have beggars aswell. read more

Specializes in MTO (made to order) sandwiches. This is the best gas station food in the U.S. The MTO process starts with a touch screen menu where you build your sandwich step-by-step without any human interaction. Three minutes later, you hear your name called up and you have your custom sandwich in hand. I hope that Sheetz continues to flourish on the East Coast and soon makes its way West. read more

Hmm, how can I describe this place best? I will say its the best Gas station with good coffee and the best bar food! Stopped in late night to fill up my tank and grab a cup of coffee. To my surprise they were serving hot, cooked to order, food for the late night customers. I walked up to the touchscreen monitors to browse the menu and the wide selection was awesome. The burrito and appetizer plate taste pretty good as well. If your from the south this place is like QT and Applebee's rolled into one. I love Sheetz. I love that you can order your food from the kiosk and pick everything you want/need. They have a big variety of different items. I only wish we had one here in Texas. My daughter goes to college up there in Roanoke, so its a fan favorite for us everytime we're up there visiting her. read more

Sheetz is the Wegmans of gas stations. It was clean and well organized, I found everything I wanted, the staff was efficient and knew what they were doing, and the parking lot was a total frickin' nightmare! I got a fresh baked blueberry muffin that was so good I didn't even share it with the dog. And they have free air with that fancy gizmo where you put in the desired tire pressue and it beeps when your tire if full... and it was in working order! Amazing! read more

I wish I could leave zero stars. The women Sandy, who apparently somehow is a "manager" is the most disrespectful person ever. I will never return again to sheetz, I have never been treated so poorly. She claimed she "couldn't" give me change cause I had to buy something. Then when I bought something I gave her "too much" money and she still wouldn't give me change because supposedly they were "low". When the draw opened they clearly had more than enough to give me change. I won't ever return to a sheetz again. I'll just go to a 7-11 where everything's cheaper and the people aren't rude. read more

Sheetz knows how to run a quality gas station. The food is....acceptable.

The subs here or any Sheetz are far better than the sub shops. I don't know how they do it but I have never had anything disappointing here. Shakes, coffee, smoothies... read more
