They were into their own little personal conversation. The restrooms were not the cleanest, but were usable. They definitely hadn't been tended to for quite awhile. That was quite clear. Less personal conversations could fix this issue. Once I took care of what I went in there for, I left my family in the store and headed back to the car. They came out with an OLD & BURNT cheese pizza for my son. Why would anyone purchase that #1??? I was upset because I would've never. That pizza had been sitting there for an hour according to the sticker on the top of the pizza. Someone needs a lesson in food prep because there's no reason that it should be cremated. Luckily, I didn't spend MY money on it, so I didn't even bother taking it back in there. Which Wich is attached to the store, but we didn't go in there. I can't speak to their food. We also didn't get any gas, so I didn't pay attention to the prices. If we are desperate to use the restroom while traveling back home, we may revisit. I won't go on purpose though. And this Sheetz is the perfect example. When I arrived at this new location, I was mesmerized by the size of the place. For years I have been a member of My Sheetz Rewards and have been using the Sheetz app, conveniently accumulating reward points and using them to pay for food items and drinks. But this had been at the old Sheetz in the corner of Orange Ave and Williamson Road, which has been closed for some time now. And it was small compared to this and all other New Sheetz which have been constructed and opened reasantly. The first thing I noticed was the large number of gas pumps available outside the gigantic restaurant/convenience store for customers to fill their tanks with gas and save. The price of gas per gallon was already lower than at other gas stations, and by using My Sheez Rewards app, it could turn out to be even lower. I then noticed the Inside-Out Drive-Thru. How convenient for ordering and picking up Made-To-Order Handcrafted Coffees and Sandwiches all day. At prices a lot lower than places like Starbucks. More than a Convenience Store, it has become a Convenience Restaurant and Modern Supermarket. For when you need something on the go. Drive by and pick up one of the Ready-To-Eat items available, or order from the Touch Screen machines, or from the Sheetz app a Made-To-Order food or drink. Inside you will also find modern digital screen coffee and other drinks machines that will allow you to custom make whatever your heart's desires. In the back there is a Walk In Beer Cave with all types of beers as well as a Wine rack in case wine is your thing. Other items like milk, snacks like ice cream, chips, and sodas. They also have a Virginia Lottery station to fill out your cards as well as an ATM machine for times when you need cash. As always they have fresh Bakery items to accompany your morning Coffee. So I started looking for an exit sign with a gas station to get off and fill my tank there. Not long after, I saw an exit sign for different establishments and among them was this Shell Gas Station on Hershberger Rd in NW Roanoke. So I didn't think it twice but put on my right turn blinking lights and got off on the next exit. This Shell Station I found out later is a 24-hour service station offering various fuel types, including Shell V-Power NiTRO+ Premium, alongside a convenience store, Nishi Food Mart 6, and a car wash. It is conveniently located for travelers and provides essential amenities such as Tire Air, Ice, Food Mart, Restrooms, ATM, Virginia Lottery, as well as being able to pay with your Shell app and take advantage of the Shell Fuel Rewards Program for members, thus saving money on your gas fill ups. You were also able purchase some items on sale at great value. After I filled the tank of my Lexus, I went inside the small convenience store to see what they had to offer and document it for this review.
