It was very clean and organized, and the cashier there was very friendly and helpful. On the outside, there is an ATM machine, so you can quickly get cash without even having to go in the store. If you download their app, they have a reward program in which you can earn points to get free coffee, fountain drinks, chips, and other items, as well as discounts on gas. The app also has coupons for discounts on items from the store. It also has a rewards catalog where you can find items to get using the points that you've earned from shopping in the convenience store and buying gas from them. Their reward program is very neat. As a registered GoMart Rewards card member, you get discounts at the pump, a special birthday bonus, and discounts on bread and milk. They also sell money orders, pre-paid cards, and lottery tickets. This is a very convenient convenience store and I definitely recommend it to all those who live or work near this store.

Needed some brake cleaner and since I was in the area across the street at UHaul, I popped in to see what they had. Everything was well organized and priced well. Not the easiest to maneuver with a walker but it's possible when the store isn't full. It was packed when I went and out of privacy reasons I didn't take photos. Besides a convenience store they also have a smoke shop. I'm not familiar with any of that but they had a long line of customers so whatever they have must be good. I probably won't have the need to go back since I'm not really in that area to shop, but I would if need be. I would recommend backing in if you can because there's an incline and a street caddy corner so you won't be able to see traffic backing out and you'd also be disrupting the view of anyone turning in or out of the street. The owners are India immigrants very proud to live in America, the land of opportunities, and show it by having a large American Flag in the back of the counter in the main entrance. And to top everything off, the owners of this mom and pop local small business are delightful. They greet you with a smile and a warm welcome and have wonderful personality. My clinician drove me to the store to get a little bit of food. As I was making my way out of the…read morecar, a customer was leaving the store in an argument with the "owner" (I do not know his name). The customer said as he came out of the store that he (the owner) needed to take it up with his workers if they gave him (the customer) the wrong pricing and threw it all on the customer. The owner came out and told the customer not to come back because now he (the customer) is shoplifting. The customer came back in and confronted the owner further. The owner said he was calling the police. That made the customer angry further. So the customer decided not to show any fear and told the owner that he was not scared of the police because everyone has a gun. The owner then used that as the customer threatening with a gun. As I was leaving the store with nothing, I told my clinician that they just lost business with me. The owner then told me to not come back. I refuse to take treatment like that from anyone. So I expressed my emotions and told him to go back to his own country if he wanted to mistreat others like he does. I admit that was not something I should have said, because people tend to see a phrase like that as racist when it is not. He calls me racist and tells me to leave and he is locking the door. So I walked up and shut the door with him inside and said, "Lock the door, then." He opens the door one last time and calls me a bastard. That man does not deserve to work in the country of the United States of America behaving like that.

In a short time, it has become the Coffee Shop in Vinton to go in the morning to enjoy a good gourmet coffee or tea, together with a breakfast sandwich, a bagel with cream cheese made in the house, or a sweet pastry. When I arrived to have breakfast, the place was almost full with people of all ages. In one corner two businessmen elegantly dressed in business suits with laptops were seated in one table with what seemed like talking business, a couple had just arrived and sat in another table drinking their coffee and socializing, two other men dressed more informal also with a laptop at another table discussing something, two young ladies seated at a counter with comfortable high chairs socializing, a husband and wife seated next to the Christmas tree enjoying some quality time together, and the manager of the place seated at a small table doing some work his computer. This not counting all those who came in to pickup takeout orders to go. One could tell that the community was taking full advantage of this beautiful and clean place with contemporary decor, large windows, and high ceilings. It also had a Community Bulletin Board on one wall near the wall for customers to post information on events happening as well as business cards of their businesses or services provided. When I arrived I was warmly greeted by a young lady employee behind the counter who was very knowledgeable about the menu of the Coffee Shop and explained to me the breakfast sandwiches that they had and took my order for one of them in a plain bagel and a large Mocha Latte Coffee. As soon as the order was ready she brought the items to the table where I was seated with a friendly smile, providing exceptional customer service. The coffee tasted absolutely Devine and was nice and hot; and the breakfast sandwich had a fresh plain bagel that was toasted to perfection, crunchy in the outside and soft in the inside, filled with fresh ingredients that together tasted amazingly delicious. Without a question, I would highly recommend this Coffee Shop to all reading my review and looking at my photographs accompanying it. This is definitely a relaxing place to go to socialize and spend quality time with family and friends, to do some work or have a meeting with work associates, or even for entrepreneurs to brainstorm ideas to start a business in the future or to make their current business grow. This definitely is a vibrant place where things are happening and the Town of Vinton and its community is clearly benefiting from it.
