Sheetz is a chain gas station and convenience store that has hundreds of locations across Pennsylvania and surrounding states. This particular location of Sheetz is on the high-traffic Perry Highway. My husband and I stopped here to purchase lottery tickets. We did not have to wait in line for long before an employee printed our lottery tickets and took our payment. I thought that this Sheetz was smaller than many other Sheetz. However, it is open 24 hours per day 7 days per week, and it sells several types of fuel, made-to-order foods, convenience-store items, and some alcohol. A small parking lot is outside. read more

Busy place, a little daunting if you've never been there before. Pretty much all self service ordering. Cashier was very friendly. Food was good. There is a nice place to sit and eat. The coffee was good. There are a lot of food choices. I recommend this place. read more

I had seen a facebook article saying that several of the Sheetz stations where offering gas for $3.99 for 88 octane gas. I generally go to get but figured what the heck might as well give it a shot. I got there and yes the gas was $3.99 at this location for 88 octane. I was very pleased at that price considering most other stations are $5 a gallon. The station does not have enough pumps to service the amount of cars there . Overall it was a good experience for gas. One gas station is pretty much the same as another. The only real difference is the price, So in this case saving a buck is a big deal. I read in the article that they will be having this special until July sometime. If you are in the area and intrested in saving a buck a gallon head of to Sheets. read more

A lot of these reviews have to be for a different store, as what some of the reviewers are saying about this place is simple not true. This place has the old layout from a bygone era. Think of this as the pre-MTO Sheetz. It is small and cramped not only in the parking/gas pump area, but it is the same inside. With the addition of the MTO and no expansion to the space makes for a jumble of a mess inside this store. I think that this location could definitely benefit from a shut down, tear down, and then rebuild. The way Sheetz runs that end of the business this location would only be out of service for a few months and then be back and better than ever. Until then, I guess you'll just have to deal with the fact that this Sheetz is just old on an odd lot. read more

This sheetz gets 3 stars because of the difficulty, when it gets busy, to get in and out of it. It is a small, older store. But serves it's purpose. read more

My food I ordered came broken. I saw them break it and it really was bad. The food was ok I guess. The food being broken though was not good at all. It really made my disabled wife mad. Please tell the people that work there to not break my food. Thank you. read more

This store has to be one of the busiest locations in the North Hills. For a long time they had a great manager who kept things running really smooth. They since have moved that manager to another store who needed his care. There is one employee in particular still there the morning, coffee lady, we adore her. She always has a smile and wants to make your day better. This review however is not about her it's about this location. I would love to see the corporation put some money in redoing this store. The floors are hideous. The fact that they have supplies stored in the store makes it look really junky. The counters and service areas of the store are worn out and just plain broken. The whole store has a very retro feel. Outside the parking is nonexistent, there are about seven spots in front of the store and an employee only lot in the back. Everyone parks at the college parking lot next door including the local police. This store deserves a do over and would be one of the best if they did it. read more

Sheetz is absolutely amazing. Sure, there are other convenience store and restaurant combos here and there. But Sheetz is the only one I've ever visited that serves gourmet coffee, specialty shakes and smoothies, pizza, sandwiches on craft breads, locally-made cookies and bakery items, and much, much more. I could eat three meals a day there and have fantastic food purchased at a reasonable price. And there are shake and smoothie flavors I've never seen anywhere else. (Peanut butter and jelly shake, anyone? Or how about a glazed donut shake?) I wish, I wish, that Sheetz would come to Utah. Until then, we'll have to make sure we head for Sheetz every time we're in Pittsburgh. read more

On this particular experience my fries were freezing cold. Don't know if they even cooked them. I'm more worried about another particular instance where I had come in about a month ago and a cook named Mike was making a scene behind the counter. He was yelling at other employees that he wanted to eat and because a small push was happening he started to throw a tantrum. I wouldn't have cared as much but he was working on my order and dropped many boneless wings out of the to go container while trying to toss them in sauce and then just shrugged his shoulders and moved on to bagging my food. He proceeded to yell weird comments like "I'm the juggernaut, bitch!!!" Then he packed up my poppers and proceeded to roll down the bag so much that I could tell he crushed all of the contents. He yelled my number, slammed my food down, and ran out the back of the kitchen. I assume this happens often because the supervisor was trying to calm him down while the older lady was just trying to do her job and work around the chaos. I felt bad for her she looked very uncomfortable. I checked my food and as I thought my poppers were destroyed. I called the supervisor over to make new ones which he did and then gave me a coupon for a free specialty drink. I can't get this situation out of my head and thought you guys should know what you are in for. Maybe you will have better luck than me. Good luck read more

I went to This Sheetz today to simply put air in my tire. Well....my battery died at the pressure pump. So I was stranded in the parking lot. I also had left my phone at home. I walked in and the cashier offered a phone and also pointed out a mechanic who happened to be buying his lunch (it was very busy at this time). One other young lady who was working overheard my dilemma and asked her manager if she could help. He let her, she jumped my car, and I was on my way! Thank you so much to everyone at this store. You turned my potential nightmare into a five minute minor setback because of your generosity. read more

this is my local sheetz. it is an older store from the 80's. i see in previous reviews that it is a new big sheetz, this particular one is not. good food, good prices, and the employees are very nice and helpful. read more
