I went to this location as it's very convenient to Penn Center in Monroeville, and it's the best option for a quick lunch, as long as you beat the rush. I had meetings scheduled all day, so I went for lunch around 10:30a and it was a good time to go. I ordered the half Garden of Eatin' hoagie which was a pretty fresh tasting sandwich. I didn't read all of the ingredients and was surprised by the cream cheese inside it. Leave it to Sheetz to put cream cheese on a sandwich. Absolute genius. I also ordered the app sampler ($5) with cheese sticks, cheese curds, and jalapeño poppers. WOW, what a great selection and probably too much fried. When the chef de cuisine called my order, he informed me the cheese sticks had a blowout in the fryer (foreshadowing for later, maybe?), and they re-dropped them. Pretty awesome if you ask me as some places would have just put the empty soul-less cheese sticks into the container. I grabbed a drink, paid, and was back in the office in no-time. Do not, and I can't emphasize this enough, DO NOT order the tacos from this Sheetz. I'd be leery of the other Sheetz, too, as I doubt they fill the tacos on location, but since I've never gotten them from any other Sheetz, I can't verify whether they'd be just as sad or not. I paid $5.17 for three "grande" tacos. That's not including tax. When I got home and went to eat my tacos, I was shocked out how little meat was in them! Seriously! There was enough for one bite and that was it. I had to scrape the meat out of the other two to put into it to make a half of an edible taco. This Sheetz in Monroeville gets very busy! We stopped here on our way home from a wedding on a Sunday afternoon. The line to pay was long, but the kiosks were available. I haven't been to a Sheetz or fast food restaurant in a loooong time, so I had no idea what to order. In the past I would order a make your own salad or a tuna hoagie. I loved their 6 inch tuna on wheat bread! It was so good and I would pack it in my lunch sometimes. I needed something kind of heavy since we drank a lot at the wedding the night before. I got a grilled cheese and added lettuce, tomato and onion to it. They don't have great vegetarian options at all! I looked to see if they had a veggie burger or veggie dog and they didn't. No egg salad, tuna salad, hummus, etc. either. My grilled cheese came with fries and a drink and was SO cheap. Once I opened it, there were no toppings like I ordered, but it was fine. I just needed something on my stomach asap. The fries were crunchy and salty- definitely fresh. They had kiosks where you can self pay which was nice. The bathrooms were stocked with toilet paper, but were not clean. This seems to be a popular Sheetz location, but I wouldn't return unless I just needed gas. read more

At first I really liked this sheetz. The first time I went they gave me extra fries, my order was correct and good. Ever since the first time.. every single time I've ordered French fries they haven't been fully cooked. Not to mention I always get the bucket and again every time it has barely been half full. I only really shop at sheetz if i have to. I go here mostly for the free gas or if i need emergency gas. I prefer to get my gas at Sunoco so i don't really get it here. If you are the average consumer and non biased there are good benefits to shopping here and getting gas. They have this sheetz card that you can get in the store and can sign up with online. You save $.03 cents a gallon when you use this card which i guess after a while with count for something. They have more than enough pumps. Close to 15 or so i think all with credit card functions and those window washer squeegee things. Inside is almost like a convenience store. They have coolers full of drinks from soda to milk, juice and energy drinks. They have an icee machines with really cool flavors along with a milkshake machine. You can choose the flavor milkshakes they have available and the machine makes it for you. They also have a MTO counter that offers hot foods, sandwiches and even latte's. I use to get their breakfast sandwiches a lot but have since changed my eating habits. The choices of food they have are becoming more and more mainstream like chicken and pizza but i wouldn't eat that stuff at a gas station anyway. The have a walk in cooler that sells two liters and 12 packs of soda for anyone who needs it cold right away. I guess it would cater best to family's coming through town who need cold soda right away. Beyond the aisles of chips and pop are your common gas station items, candy, energy bars, medicine, donuts things like that. They have an eat in cafe with about tables for 15 to 20 people so if you order something you can have a place to eat it other than in your car. They keep this store fairly clean and the bathrooms are awesome. Maybe the only bathrooms that are worthy of being in at a gas station. The big down side of this place is that they usually only have two registers open but typically have too many guest to cater too. They should have more cashiers to meet the demand of consumers. read more

Sheetz is my second favorite gas station. My favorite gas station doesn't exist on this side of the state, so initially I went to Sheetz begrudgingly. Now I go because I love it. Reasons I love Sheetz, go: 1. The gas pump bays are always well lit. I don't have any fears of being harassed or kidnapped, even in the less developed areas where I find a Sheetz. 2. The bathrooms are always clean. Always. 3. The MTO food is generally better than my expectations of "gas station food". The only downside is that I can never find my Sheetz reward card (and they will not look you up). so sometimes I miss out on deals. read more

Slow service and the food isn't as good as the Sheetz back in central PA where I was first introduced to them. Even though some nights there will be 3-4 behind the counter making food, it still seems to take forever for them to get MTO'S out. Maybe it's the set up of their kitchen, because I've never really had that problem anywhere else. Adding a major big shiny star for the always spotless bathrooms. It is seriously nice to know that in a busy business district like Monroeville there is at least one place that has a decent and well lit bathroom. But wow I usually don't care about writing reviews about chains and quick food places, but this was the bed sheetz run I have ever made. I got my normal cappuccino, but this drink was beyond normal. There was actually deliciously delicate foam piled atop of my drink when I opened the lid. It was absolutely delightful. My food was delicious as well. A great Sheetz store. Better than most. There are entrances on three sides of the building with parking all around so you can always park by the door. Service is always quick and staff are friendly. This is a newer store but it has been open long enough to have their operational procedures in place. This store is much worse than their older counterpart in Monroeville. I would advise checking any food ordered right in front of the staff handing it to you as they routinely mess up orders. The store is new and the food is the standard fare for Sheetz, the staff is just incompetent. This store would be just as good as their counterpart a few miles away if only they could read and fill orders properly. read more
