My husband and I stopped here recently to fill our vehicle with premium gasoline. We did not have to wait in line to use a pump, and the pump worked correctly. The price was typical. We did not use the convenience store, but it apparently has off-the-shelf snacks, a made-to-order cafe, alcohol, lottery tickets, and an ATM. Several Tesla EV charging stations were available.

The signs are up for SNS pump perks but…read morethere is not a way to enter your perks info. You can only enter your phine # for loyalty points with no name. The discount I had did not come up. I figured I would use it another time. The chip reader failed & I was directed inside to pay. I explained I wanted to fill up. I asked about the pump perks & was told I could enter it at the pump. I explained there is no prompt & the chip reader failed. I was told I needed the card. I advised I do not carry it because I have never used my card, I have always justed entered my #. I just said let me fill it up then. I was told I had to go pump it then come back in. Most will authorize the pump for so much then what is not pumped will just refund. I sent my 2 daughters in to pay for the gas & grab drinks. They returned to the car. I opened the soda & it was warm. It tasted horrible because you can't have soda get cold then warm. I took them back in to return them. The clerk as he looked at the receipt stated well it's your fault because it's your responsibility that if they are warm when you grab them out then don't buy them. I expalined I was not the one who got them from the cooler & there are no signs posted that the cooler is broken as he expalined it was. He knew my daughters made the purchase because he just rung it up. I advised him that according to health board he shouldn't be selling anything from those coolers. He then took my receipt, crumbled into a ball, and threw it in the trash so I couldn't show I had purchased it. Then he said well take it up with the health board because we aren't selling milk. Do you see the empty spaces there? The health board was just here (which I will show why that was a lie) & they said it was okay except for the milk. I said you are throwing my receipt away for gas, really? He printed another and handed it to me. You know he kept the crumbled one so he could say he didn't do that but the receipt has reprint on it. I said do you know how to use Google to find out what happens to items that are cold & then left to go warm again. He said this is private property & I don't have to deal with people like you, get the hell outta my store. I explained I was food certified & he was dealing with someone that knew these were wrong to be sold. I asked to see the last health inspection as these are to be made available upon request. He refused. I asked do you not care if people get sick quite a few times. He refused to answer. I did get pictures of the cooler doors. I also offered to give him 1 of the drinks I purchased for him to drink. Yep, he refused because he knew he could get sick. He again said it was private property. As I was going down the road my daughter said mom, are you sure it isn't because this is expired. So yes, the health board had not just been there & knew a repair man was on the way like he stated because they would have pulled anything that was out of date. I have been through many inspections. We aren't just talking a few days which I could fully understand. We are talking a day or 2 shy of 3 weeks. 3 weeks they have been selling expired items to people & do not care. I tried to call the store to let know this & no one answered the phone. So at this location you can not use your pump perks, your card at the pump, or purchase properly temperature maintained items that aren't expired because it is up to you the customer to know the coolers are broken when there is no signage. Now a days we pay high prices only to be treated as though we are in the wrong for making a purchase. No, he did not refund the purchase. I just donated to that store for expired spoiled items even though I explained I was a compromised immune system. He was training the gentleman that was there with him so I guess he had to show how to give the most horrible customer service. Please do not ever purchase anything from a cooler that is not kept at tempature because once an item is left for a certain amountbof time bacteria builds.

The convenience store looks like a mini turnpike service plaza with all the road warrior snacks and Red Bull Monster drinks needed for the long haul to anywhere. Didn't need to use the plumbing, so can't comment on its existence nor condition. Gas is a few cents more per gallon than the real plazas, but if you find yourself in Youngwood with an empty tank, this is your only real choice.

When I would drive between home and college I would stop here almost every single time. It was convenient for me. But back in those days this place did not look like it does today. It was the old setup and it was a mess. Now, they built anew (at least it is new to me). Still in the same spot, but it has been updated with all the bells and whistles that Sheetz has become known for. Only thing missing is a drive thru, but this location doesn't have the space for that. Friendly staffing makes for an easy flow through this store. I came in for a quick drink and was on my way.
