I nearly ran in here after I parked because I had to use the facilities. Some of the cleanest facilities that I have come across in a Sheetz location. I came out and immediately went to the cooler to grab a few drinks to take home with me. I also browsed a bit to see what snacks they had, but knew I was probably not going to get much here as I still had a long distance to drive and food was very near in my future. Headed to the counter to pay, opting for the regular registers. Got my items from behind the counter, went outside to enjoy the day a bit before getting back into my vehicle.

We…read moreimmediately got off at the Chambersburg exit and hobbled into the Sheetz parking lot that is right off of Lincoln Way East. My husband set to putting on the spare and there was too much damage to the lugs and we needed new ones. It was more than my husband could do on the fly, so we called our road side assistance through Nationwide. They only handle basic tire changes so we had to find someone to do it ourselves (thanks Nationwide!!!). It was after 5pm when we realized that, and most places were closed. I went into the Sheetz to talk to Tif the Manager to tell her what was going on and if it were ok that we stay there until we get help. She was so gracious and understanding and made us feel safe that we could be there as long as we needed. She gave us fountain drink coupons and let us come in and sit in the dining area to get out of the heat (there was a heat wave going on). We had dinner there (which was quite yummy) and freshened up in the very clean bathroom. An employee named Max was also there to assist us and she was very nice also. Luckily we were only two hours from home and our auto tech son and some friends came to rescue us. So, we were there about 6 hours. Knowing that we had a safe place to stay until we found help made the ordeal so much easier to deal with. Thank you Tif and Max AND Sheetz for hiring such good people!! We appreciate the help you gave us. We go to the sheetz in VA where we live all the time and wherever we are when we travel. We always find friendly employees, good food, and clean bathrooms.

Not the cleanest but also not the worse/unusable bathroom. I got some hot chocolate and some donuts to go. There was no line and was able to get checked out really quickly.

When I arrived at work 5 minutes later, I opened my wrapping and almost all of the lettuce fell out of the wrapper onto the floor. I couldn't eat the croissant because more than half of it was hard as a rock. The bacon was beyond crispy it tasted burnt. I'm not sure where the cheese was on the sandwich. Let me say, not the most satisfying sandwich I have eaten. About the only thing I could enjoy was the chicken, the rest not worth what I paid. I like going to sheets at that location because it is on my way to work. I'm just not happy with the quality this time.

This is my main grocery store, it's close to home and has about everything I need…read more It's expensive when you buy name brands at full price, so I watch for sales, use coupons, and buy store brands. This particular Giant is pretty busy. Lots of parking available. They have both short, stubby carts and full-sized carts. I see the same usual people at the check-out when I go. They're usually pretty friendly and efficient. Some even strike up a little conversation once and awhile. You have to watch with deals like buy a certain dollar amount and get a certain dollar amount off you order instantly. It does't always ring up right. Just keep an eye on the scanner, or ask the cashier at the end to ensure deals ring up correctly. If they don't, they'll make it right. If you buy produce or meat that you find is rotten, you can return it. I returned meat once and it was hassle-free. This Giant has a clearance section in the back by the restrooms. Sometimes you can find some great things, other times it's just junk. The coffee shop inside this Giant makes some great coffee, and it's not horribly expensive. Always fresh tasting. In the winter, you can sit by the fireplace with your coffee, which is nice. Then go do your shopping. ****Coffee shop has closed***** They don't always have baggers, but cashiers often help you bag items. This Giant carries a nice selection of natural and organic items. They have a great selection of teas as well. If you need gluten-free, they have a decent selection of that, but it's really expensive. The pharmacy here could use some improvement. There is often a sign posted and the gate is down at the window when the pharmacist leaves. I can understand reasoning behind that, but it seems like it happens frequently. I get my prescriptions filled there since they take my insurance. They are nice enough, although sometimes it feels like I'm bothering them or interrupting them a little. There is a great selection of vitamins here, too. Plus, they go on sale often, you can take advantage of buy one get one free from time to time, which is great. They have great selection of health products like a drug store has, too. While it's generally more expensive to shop here, you can still do decently with coupons and sales.

Typically I go to the one on Black Gap Road, right off of I-81 near the mall. It's rarely packed, can usually get in and out and on my way. They don't have a big convenience store that serves a bunch of food, so you don't get a whole lot of people stopping in for that. For that reason, it cuts down on traffic flow, making it generally nicer to just pull in and fill up. I know this location had an incident at one point in the bathroom, which is outside, so I stay away at night. It's a busy location during the day, though, with Route 997 and I-81 intersecting, so it's not so scary in the daylight. It's a gas station, not much more to say, really.
