This is old- but it was so bad I have to get it off my chest! This company did cancel a lot so that…read morewas already not good . But a few years back, a chocolate tone, kind of short woman who worked at the front desk and was the masseuse, was a complete nightmare to clients. She was rude, manipulative and unhinged. I had two sessions with her. The first session with her was mediocre. The second session reception said she was the only one available so I took a chance because I needed it fast. I still remember how while giving the massage she tried to trauma dump on me about her walking into her apartment to see that someone unalived themselves in it. Wtf?! Why are you telling me this while you are massaging me? Why are you talking to me? It's completely inconsiderate and inappropriate. And if you are a kind person it's hard to hear someone went through that and not have empathy- But I'm paying for this time and you are ABUSING IT!! I didn't want this woman touching me anymore she was just a soul sucking, destructive, bleeding spirit that needed personal help and to find another profession so that her toxicity wouldn't spread further. I remember calling to make an appointment for someone else for the 3rd session. I had no qualms about politely but directly saying that I did not want her again. Then she pretended to be someone else and said that she was the only person available for the time time slot. I just said never mind. She kept intercepting the calls for some time and it was impossible to get anyone else to talk to. I wish I didn't buy the package. This was years ago. It seemed like they were ok with this nightmare of a soul working there in a space of healing for so long. I lost money on this and it's been years and I still have triggers of thinking about how terrible the service and the masseuse was. I HOPE they got rid of this person because I'm sure she single handily ruined significant income and clientele for this business. I haven't been back because her energy was so bad it ruined everything. I think she even pretended to be the owner in writing- it just wasn't worth the time to figure it out. it says a lot for a business to have someone so horrible like that around and they not see it. Rebuke!

I called to make an appointment but the number was disconnected. I looked around online for the number to make sure it was correct, which it was, but I still couldn't get through. I was very frustrated because I thought I had bought a Groupon that I wouldn't be able to use because I couldn't even get through to book an appointment. I sent an email through the website, after 3 days, no answer. I called again and I finally get through to book an appointment. The receptionist was very friendly and we were checked in without a problem. The masseuses were very professional and friendly. The massage was good, but instead of working out some of the knots in my muscles, the massage aggravated them and they felt more sore than broken up and relieved. The scalp massage was delicious tho! For the value of the Groupon, it's a great deal but I think you get what you pay for. I may just have to splurge a little for 5 star quality but for an occasional massage, this is a good place.

I am a bicyclist with plantar fasciitis and very tight calves that make walking painful. I have been through physical therapy and orthotics, and still have discomfort every day. Not today though! I have never felt so much long-lasting relief with any of the painful massages I have been subjected to as I have with this massage. The woman has a gift: She can provide very firm massage or more gentle pressure, if you prefer. She knows reflexology. She asks your preferences and checks back often. Go there, ask for Kia. So, so happy I found her and can't wait for my next massage. The infrared sauna was pretty nice: You sit in a fancy, albeit slightly claustrophobic sauna box that heats you up from the inside to make you sweat and probably release toxins. While it is not my favorite thing to be hot and sweaty in a box for a half an hour, it really helped to sweat out the toxins released during massage. Kia says it is possible to burn up to 700 calories with this treatment, but said not to quote her. :) Those of you Washington old-timers may think this is an inconvenient or undesirable area to go to, but it is very middle-class looking these days. It's a little weird from the outside, but it is very nice inside. They are a little heavy on the spa fragrance, so if you have allergies, beware. Otherwise, a very affordable spa experience.

He requested two of his massage therapists to come in on a Sunday (they are closed on Sundays) in order to make sure I was seen since I was traveling from New York for a friend's birthday. We had an amazing experience! The massages were great and the therapists had the perfect pressure. They were both professional and very sweet. The inside of the building was very relaxing and calming. They had perfect calming music playing with an electric fireplace and candles lit to truly transform you into a relaxed state. I really enjoyed my experience and I plan to return. The only suggestion I have is to update the outside of the building so that it can reflect the classy, upscale ambiance inside the building.
