I was in here in the past week, and the owner seemed like a nerdy guy from somewhere else that really didn't know his craft nor his gun components. He got confused over just a few questions. The other interesting thing is, he's definitely not a sheepdog whatsoever, he's just a guy that had some extra money and build the business, hoping to take advantage of other people with his high prices. He's not a local, and he's not a very pleasant individual nor is he tactically Sound. The guy really doesn't know what he's doing. I almost always buy guns, ammo or accessories when I go into a gun store. I will never shop at this gun store again. The guy is just extremely rude and full of himself. Not a great combination for business. No thank you sir there are plenty of other gun shops in town. Frankly not surprised at all to see a low rating for someone this shallow. read more

We wanted to buy a sidearm for our daughter and since I took my enhanced cc class from the owner we thought we would give sheep dog a call. My husband who has spent his entire adult life in sales and recruiting talked to Spencer. After an incredibly curt and dis-informative conversation, the call was terminated. I visited the store to share my concern about the call and was met by Spencer also with short words and profanity. Okay guns and ammo store if you live in the area and don't want to drive. Process on inventory are hot and miss. Gunsmithing is $80 / hour, which is pretty darned high. The owner send like he's a bit of a blowhard and a know it all. Okay place if you're in the area and just need something small. I withheld one star for the owner's superior attitude. read more

Best gun store if you aren't a communist or an idiot. I suspect the negative reviews are the product of people who fall on the left side of both the IQ bell curve and the political spectrum.
