I'm in town visiting for an event and need a haircut asap. This app says it supposed to be open till 7pm, so I called ahead of time to check and no one answered. I read nearby so I decided to stop by to ask if they took walk ins. Someone was working on a haircut and as I tried to open the door the door was locked. The barber made a gesture with his hand as if he was closed. I looked at their posted hours on their doors and thru had no closed hours, see for yourself on the picture. Not good to keep the doors open for a business. They need to clarify their "Open" hours so that potential customers don't waste their time trying to figure out if their open. read more

I love this place, the barbers greet you as you walk in. The barbers here have amazing skills and take their time with you. You can tell they are well experienced and educated in their craft. My husband and my 2 boys come here. They also have 2 pool tables to keep you entertained. Several TV's on and or sometimes they have music playing. I definitely recommend Victor and Nick. read more

As simple as it seems, a decent haircut says a lot about an individual's character and personality. It represents good hygiene, confidence, and the ability to stay tip-top. I've always had a very difficult time finding a quality barber until I met Nick at Shears City. Personally, I feel relieved to know that he will deliver exactly what I ask for without question. I went in for a cut yesterday for my wedding today. Nick took the time to make sure I had the cleanest, best looking cut for my special day. He even offered to comb my hair today to make sure I looked my best. Not only do they cut my hair well but they also make getting your haircut fun by offering multiple pool tables with complimentary water and beer. Alright so I'm a single mom of boys, whatever they like cut I get. My son is 14 has been asking to come (I go next door for eyebrows) so I finally take him. They ONLY take cash, ok cool atm on site. This will be my 3rd shop that I have been to. With in a 10 mile radius. Over all this shop was nice. The guy was nice and fast. The shop was big. Not a lot of going on. The way it look it mite need a little more update. I'm not here for the way it look. The guy that cut my hair was good, nice, he paid attention to what I wanted. I only thing I noticed was his tools were in a box on top of his work desk. Must shop have there cutting tools lay out on top of there work station. Out of all 3 shop this one was nice. In the top... Barber whom cut my hair was cool, noticed the barber next to him was asleep and had to be woken up when customers came in. He didn't even greet the customers, just stayed quiet. My barber actually stopped to service waiting customers which was cool. Why I gave it a 3. The haircut was rushed because others came in after I sat down. Another quantity over quality barbershop. Yes, I know barbers rent their chairs these days, but that doesn't excuse rushing a cut to get more customers in. But, I was told I would receive $5 off my haircut when I was at a nearby shop, but definitely did not receive the $5 off. Also, the haircut itself is definitely not worth $20. read more

First time and last time here. They get 2 stars for a good fade. I read the other reviews and had to see for myself. Inappropriate horrible rap music was playing the entire time. Every other word was nigga or fuck etc.... Don't get me wrong, I enjoy old school rap from 80's and 90's. But today's music is so awful. Unprofessional for a business establishment. During my haircut, the barber next to me and his customer went to the back of the business for about 5 minutes. When they returned, they were both high and wreaked of marijuana. These barbers don't get the credit they deserve. I went in as a walk-in for just a cleanup but ended up getting a full haircut. The place itself is pretty spacious, there's a ton of chairs for waiting and a few TVs to watch during your cut. Really the reason I write this review is for Carlos. Super great guy, cool to talk to and kills it as a barber. I wish there was a way the owners could show off these guys work on here to show the quality of work they make. read more

I stopped by this place at about 640 pm to get a hair cut cause I was in the area. There was an employee walking outside, went to his car and then began to bring the store signs inside. I asked him if they were closed and he said yes, then I asked him what time they close and he said 7. He recommended I come back tomorrow morning and gave me the time they opened and said they would have a full staff. Hell no, I would not ever go back to this place! There was another female inside giving a hair cut, it wasn't like they were full as there was only one customer inside that she was attending too. As I was leaving the guy sat down on the couch and then just pulled out his phone. Prob tweeting or posting how a hard full day of work that he just had. Dope spot! They got pool tables you can play while you wait. All the barbers are friendly and professional. My boy Nick always getting down with the tapers and fades highly recommend him. Followed him here from his last spot although it's farther from my house and adds 15 minutes all worth it when you walk out feeling like a million bucks with a fresh new cut ! read more

Drove all the way here from Colton because they have good barbers and good service. Today I came in at 5:50pm, they close at 7. Only one barber was there and he told me he was only there for his appointments and was not gonna have time for my cut. I understand that the dude's busy, my question is why was there only one guy running the shop? Last time I checked turning money/customers away is not a good business model. Time to find a new barber, you can't burn loyal customers like that and expect them to return. Peace out guys. read more

The shop was nice and clean. But it lacks a lot of things. First off, it would help if the accept debit/credit cards, as cards are only accepted on selected barbers. I don't know why, but I guess the barbers decide on their prices. It would be nice if it's uniform and the same for everyone. That way, I don't have to run to the bank. Also, their price list are not displayed anywhere in the store. I had no idea that a regular cut costs $25 (which to me is VERY expensive for just a #1 shave), whereas other shops nearby charges lower. Not to mention that my barber wasn't very warm to me. Sorry, but you lost a neighborhood customer (unless you fix those issues). read more

I was coming here for a few consecutive weeks and had a female attend me. I once came in hoping to get a cut and saw a few barbers in a corner just talking it up with no acknowledgement at all. After about 10 minutes, they finally called me over. I explained to a gentleman, at the time he had a broken leg it seemed, what I wanted and he said, "I don't do scissors, I'm all machine" he then called the female who normally cuts my hair and asked her if she could see me. She stated she had an appointment but he convinced her to see me anyways. Seeing as how I've seen her before I felt like she knew what I wanted, I still explained it again. She butchered my hair and i noticed the rest of the barbers looking at me, then that same guy with the broken leg goes, " I could've done that for you man" knowing my hair was bad. The girl then said, "you don't have to tip me" I felt like the haircut should've been free, I still tipped. Knowing it'll be the last tip she gets from me. There was probably only 1 decent barber at this place. I would recommend looking elsewhere or leaving your hair as is. read more

We had a wedding to attend last weekend and my boys were in need of a haircut desperately. We stopped by this shop and we were quickly greeted and attended by a nice polite gentlemen, I believe his name was victor, he was very attentive of my boys and very patient with my 5 year old. It was refreshing to see that he wasnt doing any faces at my child even though he was moving around. For that i apologize but i'm so glad to see a true professional barber and for the record i had gone to the other shop in the same lot about a month ago and they were very rude and impatient and the haircut quality was not the same. so i decided to give Shears City a try and i regret nothing. both my boys haircut came out awesome and they got alot of compliments at the wedding. will be back soon for a cleanup :) read more

Stopped by for a cut, staff was friendly. My barber (Victor) took his time, I asked for a high razor fade and got a hot towel shave treatment. Fade turned out great. One of the best cuts I've had. I would definitely recommend Victor. I will likely make this place my new regular spot. read more
