Really cool barber shop that isn't on a Main Street. It can be a downfall if you're not good at what you do, but these guys know what's up. Their skills are on point and whatever you ask for, they'll take care of you. I had an appointment and the guy before me ended up canceling. The barber called me to ask if I wanted to come in earlier or stay at my scheduled time. Unfortunately, I was working, otherwise I would have taken the offer to go in earlier. The place has a really cool vintage feel to it along with some sport memorabilia and some Wild West items. While you're getting your cut, they will have you laughing with some of their conversations. I called and tried to make an appointment for myself, and the gentleman on the phone could not fathom that a female would want her head shaved. He proceeded to tell me that he couldn't make an appointment for a female because it would make the male customers uncomfortable. I'm disappointed because I was told that they give a great very close shave. I guess I'll never know. Ladies beware, if you want to get your head shaved here they are going to act like the idea of you being serviced at their shop is as crazy as asking for a dog that can fly. read more

Been here two times now and they do nothing but great work! Really chill environment, they offer beer and water while you wait or get your haircut. Make sure you book ahead, it's always busy. The Loft is quietly tucked away on W Emporia St. across the street from the City of Ontario offices. This eclectic space is filled with vintage barber chairs, sports memorabilia, and personal touches from each barber. Who also happen to be super cool, polite, hospitable men. I always feel outta sorts going to a barber because I feel like my presence makes the fellas feel like they need to be on their best behavior when the mom is in the building. Regardless, everyone made me feel welcomed, including the customers. You can see that Ishmael takes pride in his work, the amount of time and effort he invested in my baby boy was amazing.
