I don't remember seeing them open any sealed packets of sanitized instruments in my 4 visits there either. They didn't follow my directions to file and not clip either. The salon is filthy. The people at the front desk are sweet and pleasant & the nail techs that I've had so far (Nina & Tiffany) provided the exact service I asked for while far exceeding my expectations. Her nails are fresh and you can clearly see the gel peeling away from her skin around the perimeter Of the nail. And the CUT on her, her nail is not irritation or sensitivity. If a nail is filed correctly, she would not be bleeding in a localized area in that nature. That's not irritation. TF? Very unprofessional to gaslight her. I have been frequenting this place for over a year and have recommended this place multiple times. But as of recently, I've been getting knicked, improperly filed down and had less than ideal results. The service has been inconsistent and it's sad to see this place go downhill. It's even more sad to see that management has not only gaslit me, but very clearly is doing it to other women.

I only received the basics because it was for an upcoming trip and I don't get my nails done often. The prices were very reasonable and even with the basics my toes still look good (3weeks later- some grow out) and my nails didn't start chipping until about 5 days (but I was in pools and hot tubs often). It was mild. Toes held up great! I will be back!

La Madame is kept VERY clean and it's so sparkly and it's such a vibe in here, there is plenty of seats and every few seats there are privacy curtains which to me was a very nice touch. Jesse serviced me I got an Aloe Vera pedi - $67 not including tip. ASK FOR JESSE!! He was amazing and talked to me about the things I wanted and told me why he was leaving and for how long (grabbing stones , hot towels, lotion, etc.) some ppl may feel that it's too much but it was so nice to know those things! Side story: A lady came in and asked if her nail could be fixed (toes) they sat her beside me immediately and they fixed her up and made sure she liked it all before she was finished, she felt it was still bad, they fixed it again the Manager was like "I won't stop until you like it ma'am" - turns out it was the curer that made her nail bubble they switched it out and it was so much better. Overall I WILL BE COMING BACK! I'm new to town and I have found the GEM! highly recommend 10/10

There were only 3 customers in the salon and while we were there, customers were turned down as "we can't do you right now, can you come back later?" But primarily, my low score is for the lack in fully advising the customer of charges expected in advance: I selected the deluxe pedicure of $50, but the total amount came to $76.75 ($75 + some add'l charge). I was shocked when I felt I had to add a tip. I did ask for french tips, but never did I expect $25 plus for that. BEWARE and just ask upfront of complete charge in advance of services. Otherwise, the facility is clean, staff is somewhat friendly, and the final expectation is okay (but now wow factor).
