All that happened was that it ended up getting darker and darker and had what I thought was about 3 different shades of blonde. Finally I had it and went in search of a new salon. After a lot of research and a big thank you to everyone for their reviews I went to Bijou. I am sooooooo happy I did!!!! Now going to a new salon you don't know anyone and you don't know who you are going to be working with. Shira did my color and a cut. My word, you could not ask for a nicer person to do your hair. Shira and her boss spent over twenty minutes alone figuring out what products to use to get my hair ash blonde (the color I was asking for at the other salon but never got). Not only was my hair not even close to ash blonde it had at least 5 or more shades of blonde, yellow , orange and my roots. I was there for awhile but it did not even feel like it. Everyone was so nice and the salon is very comfortable. This is one of my favorite cut and colors I ever had, and I have been coloring for a LONG time now. Shira did an amazing job and I couldn't be happier. I definitely recommend Bijou. They are a little pricey but my hair was a disaster and I can't believe what a difference a couple of hours and a great stylist can do. I told her my tale about the previous stylist I had and the damage that he did to my hair all in one sitting. Alyssa listens.! after intense, discussion and consultation, we came up with a preliminary plan. And this plan has worked toward. Correcting my natural color from a disgusting blonde that the previous stylist did to my hair after my telling him I did not want blonde, and cutting off all the dead hair into a style that my newfound curls from my natural /white have been so complementary to me from my family and friends. I was tired of pulling a comb through my overgrown hair in frustration so I went to Theo's for a hair relaxer. Theo took one look at my hair and knew exactly what to do. She recommended that I get a texturizer so that I could continue the process of transitioning into natural hair. She was incredibly gentle with my hair (and I'm pretty tender headed). When I was done, my hair looked perfectly straight and styled. She also offered to teach me how to blow dry my hair (a frustrating process for me). Over several visits to her salon, she taught me the tips and tricks necessary to efficiently blow dry my hair (for free!). This is a skill that I continue to use to this day. Overall, I recommend Theo to everyone. She can handle any type of hair or any texture. She goes above and beyond for her clients and conducts her business with integrity. She got to work and checked in along the way to make sure I was satisfied with the direction the style was headed, and made any adjustments I requested. I was so happy with the outcome, and it stayed looking perfect until I went to bed! My mom, mother-in-law, and two of my bridesmaids also had their hair styled here for the event, and were very happy with the results. She also cuts and colors my hair regularly (going on four years now), so I couldn't think of anyone else doing my hair when I got married! For hair in general, she is so knowledgeable about hair and how to make it healthy. She knows the latest techniques and is a genius when it comes to color. For special occasions, she works with you closely to curate the exact hair style you're looking for. I went through maybe three or four trials before choosing the style I wanted, and the trials are very reasonably priced. She also did my hair before my bridal shower and was able to come to my home early as I got ready. I would definitely recommend Kristin for any special occasion or wedding hair, as well as just regular hair cuts and maintenance. Each person in my bridal party got the style that they wanted and everyone looked so beautiful. With the craziness of the day, she was patient as different people got their makeup done and got ready and couldn't have been more of a professional. I decided to go blonde and went to this hair salon. Came in with a beautiful balayage (done by one of the master stylists of the same establishment), but walked out of my second season with different shades of blonde and patchy work done 11/23/2024. My hair is extremely damage and falling off. After sitting there for hours I was ready to go home so decided to walk out withoutuu being blow dried. BEST decision in my opinion. If I had allowed her styled before leaving I probably wouldn't have noticed. Once I was got home I felt as if product was left behind. Which prompted me to look in the mirror closely. It nearly brought me to tears! I reached out to the hairstylist for advice on what can be done or at least half of a refunded. I thought that was fair considering the results. At the end we're both taking a loss. She seemed upset and dismissive. With a reply that pretty much said she would've noticed if I would let her blow dried it, and that the results were fine. She ended up giving me half of refund, but didn't acknowledge photos that I sent once my hair was dry, nor did she mention how it would get fixed. To be honest, I feel like I should've received full refund since now I will be spending more money to fix my hair. Not to mention the loss of the first session because it was completely botched after. Safe to say I will be not going back. I'll let the photos speak for themselves.

I've even started bringing my teenagers who also prefer Laura's individuality and style. I would be incomplete if I failed to emphasize Laura's sense of humor, funny stories and charm.
