The quality of service was okay. The washer was decent. She was nice but she was a little too gentle with washing my hair and didn't spend a lot of time. The overall service was good. Raissa always does a great job with blowing out my hair. The vibe was very relaxing and quiet which I loved. However, I didn't like the receptionist did not like go by the line up of when customers arrived to pair them with a stylist. 2 people that arrived after me went before me causing me to wait longer than anticipated. The process needs to be improved. Other than that I would recommend. read more

Fast Service Good Chill Vibes Nice Staff Hair Comes Out Great Everytime Yulissa Is the BOMB read more

I must say this was the worst experience I've ever had in a hair salon. The stylist was not concerned about my Hair Health. All she wanted to do is burn my hair out. The staff walked around, like peacocks, not speaking, not smiling. with their nose in the air. my sisters we really need to do better when it comes to supporting our own because it is obvious that all they want is our money spin, our money black. read more

The stylist are great. The one who washes hair is terrible. water is cold, splashing every where, pulling your hair hard. it also says they open at 9 am but they don't. they pretty much open whenever they feel like it. so you pull up at 9 am and wait til 9:30 for someone to pull up to open the door then have to wait for them to set up. it's ridiculous! after new years they closed for days no sign saying why or when they where reopening and when you call it's an automated messaging. read more

Went in for a wash & set and they ABSOLUTELY snuck relaxer into my hair. I'm devastated. Please don't go here if you have natural hair and want to keep it that way. read more

I got my hair done here today, but they overcharge really bad. I payed $200 for a partial balayage and cut/layers. They did not want to give us our money back and kept stuttering every time we asked about the price. They kept changing the prices. DO NOT GO HERE. read more

I'm giving a one star bc i can't give zero. I gave clear instructions on the length to cut and instead they did short, choppy layers. I told them one inch and the lady went and cut 3 or 4 saying, "ends are dead no good." That is not up to the stylist to decide. I paid for what i wanted not for what she thought was best. They absolutely destroyed my hair and left it so uneven. She basically gave me a bob on the top and left the rest long. I am going back to demand my money and never setting foot there again. read more

Ponte Bella - terrible haircut - Hair Salons Near Me - Trenton, New Jersey

They were so kind and approachable! My regular pedicure lasted over an hour and not because anyone was lazy. They were just very thorough! A gel mani-pedi Mon-Wednesday is $40 so it's a really good deal too! I was able to communicate with my manicurist which I loved. They were friendly and just as appreciative of the conversation as I was if theirs. It seems to be a family run busy that works like a well-run machine. The place was packed from the time I got in until the time I left and it was a Monday afternoon! read more

Ponte Bella - Not the clearest photo in the world, but just lovely! - Hair Salons Near Me - Trenton, New Jersey

So my hair is destroyed - breaking off and shedding terribly. This was not at all an issue prior to going here. And yes, I've been conditioning and wearing protective styles. Worse yet, a coworker of mine went here for a simple doobie and left with a blunt handful of hair cut from the crown of her head! Read this: the woman that should have been giving her a roller set, took scissors to her head and cut several inches off - then just brushed her hair over it! If she is willing to send me a pic I will absolutely ask her if I can post here. Do Not, I repeat, Do Not waster your time or money here. read more

I've gone to this specific Ponte Bella a few times. While I completely agree that they do a wonderful job, I cannot ignore the fact that it is typically very crowded, loud, and I always spend more than 2.5 hours in this particular salon. It's not my favorite place to go. Recently, they opened another salon in Morrisville, Pa. (Same owner) and I love it there! COMPLETELY recommend this place!!!!! The clientele is very different, more mature, quiet, relaxing.... I am usually in and out within 2 hours and I never have to wait. Usually, when I go I am just leaving work. With that said, the last thing I feel like doing is having to be bothered with noise and commotion!! Tommi does my hair (Usually a wash, set, and straighten for about $35). She's nice, outgoing, and professional. I call in advance to make an appointment with her and there's never an issue. I always leave feeling like a mixture of Beyonce' and Marilyn Monroe! read more

I found this little jewel a couple months ago I get in and out and always have a great experience and my hair has grown!

Went in a little over a month ago to get TEMPORARY DARK burgundy hair color. The girl with the glasses acts likes she doesn't understand English, giving me this dumb founded look when on the wall there it is on the rates...temporary hair color. She then walks to a stylist (I forgot her name but she's Spanish, short, medium length wavy hair, young looking) and I would assume tell her what I wanted. The stylist walks to me and I tell her what I wanted and instead of listening to me she said suggested permanent instead saying it'll last longer. But I made it very clear I wanted temporary color. Does this bitch not know that I understand what temporary means? I mean wtf?!? Why does this salon offer a service that's either not available or they just don't want to do. I DID NOT want to have any permanent color on my hair as I've been natural and have had no color for over 4 years. I only wanted the temporary color as it fades away after a few washes and apparently this bitch up and did the ultimate.... She ended bleaching/lifting my natural color to damn near blond which horrified the hell outta man, and she gonna have the nerve to ask if I wanted to keep my hair that color because she and the other stylists thought it was cute. In my head, I lost my mind and I somehow managed to keep my composure. I firmly told her to add the color, being that she either purposefully or just did whatever she felt like doing of lifting the color. I told her that in the past I went burgundy with permanent color and after one wash it went from dark to light but she was like no this will last a long time because it's permanent. WRONG! My hair looks like reddish pink purple ish with golden orange on left side and on some sections on top of my hair, meaning it was a TERRIBLE job on a simple one color job. How do you mess that up?!?? I don't know who the manager is or if one even exist, but I would love to get in touch with them if that's even possible or if they even care to discuss this. DO NOT GET YOUR HAIR COLORED THERE! Don't make the same mistake as me; my hair is ruined and I hate the color even more now as it's much lighter, color looks like something out of a comic book. My job is conservative so this is just bad for me. I can't wear my hair back to refrain from anyone seeing the horrible orange color on my left side edges. I'm waiting a bit to just at home color it since I know I can do a much better job except this time I'm just doing brown. They act like they don't know English and play dumb but when you have a business and your employees do not listen to what the customer asks for and, in turn, fuck up their natural hair, that's a SERIOUS problem when you're messing with people's hair and money! Therefore, I will do everything in my power to put as much negative press out as possible about this place. Also, I wanted my hair to be very voluminous and full yet time and time again, they make it flat and lifeless. I absolutely hate having my hair super sleek. That's another thing, this place does one style and one style only. They have absolutely no clue or are either too lazy to actually style the hair properly. So if u want flat hair, go there. But not for color and not for any other styling because these people can't do shit else but wash some hair and blow It out. BASIC. read more

Worst haircut I've ever gotten in my entire life , I could never recommend this place if you care about your hair please please please do not go here !!!! read more

One star because I can't click zero star. Wow! I was a client of the salon in Morrisville. When they closed down, I went to this location, following my 2 beauticians who, by the way, are awesome. Well...this place is horrible. There is a beautician there, Blanca or Blanco - not sure if is a man or a woman, who is rude and unprofessional to the clients and to the other workers. The place is far from clean, unlike the Morrisville location. Little roaches crawling on the floor. Do they clean at the end of the day? Where is the owner of this business to allow that kind of behavior? Not planning to be back. read more

I finally found a nail salon that I know I will go back to every time. They're all so nice and friendly. They do a fantastic job and it's very reasonable-pedicure and gel manicure is $45. They just closed on Sunday's so don't be disappointed by showing up then. read more

I usually go to Rica and never have a problem. She always cuts my hair how I want it and everything. I decided to try someone else I went to Jocelyn, i wanted my hair cut and dyed I showed her a picture and she still did not cut my hair how I wanted. She told me that the way she cut it was good and I was very upset. When I left I realized that my roots were a way different color than the rest of my hair and I could have done that myself! I was very disappointed I went to another salon and the stylist told me that the back of my hair was cut entirely too short. Extremely disappointed. They should definitely listen to their customers, we know what we want, if I wanted what you wanted me to have then I wouldn't have showed the picture. This is part my fault because I didn't go to my usual stylist but it shouldn't make a difference. If I ever need to go there I would never go to Jocelyn. read more

The employees are really friendly, and I really love Blanca. I took 3 years of Spanish but I could never speak it fully like she can. All in all, she's the best employee who gets my hair done easily in under an hour and knows how to deal with my thick hair. read more

the general atmosphere is very relaxed and happy, you're helped very quickly, the staff is EXTREMELY good and on top of that it's very cheap. I refuse to get my eyebrows done anywhere else. read more

Have been to tons of nail salons but this by far exceeded my expectations! Small family owned business with excellent customer service. Felt very comfortable and welcomed. Highly suggest for someone who wants a great mani pedi for a good price. Nails lasted for almost 3 weeks and got tons of complements from friends and family. Definitely will be returning! read more
