My wife was recommended by a friend to go to Rachel, so we setup an appointment with their online booking system. Perk right away - they have a first time guest discount when you create your profile. And day of, they message you through the system and give you a way to check in, as you arrive. We had intended for this to just be a few inches off for summer, but decided to go all in with a full summer chop! Rachel was game!! She asked for any inspiration photos and gave a detailed consultation to ensure every detail. My wife asked for her to cut off the bulk of the hair dry.. to avoid shampooing all of the extra length.. and to get some cute photos and videos of the long hair chop!! Rachel was amazing! She cut the full length (7") in batches to continue to check if she wanted more. She helped to explain how even minimal face framing would help the short cut look better. Then she went above and beyond helping to explain how to best style it, give tips on products and tools, and recommendations on continued haircare. The haircut is shear perfection!! Going long to short with a new stylist is not common, but Rachel doesn't make you feel like a first time guest.. and she is very knowledgeable about hair to give you exactly what you want Needless to say, my wife already booked her next appointment with Rachel and intends to be a client for cuts to come! Looks Salon is so well maintained. The beautiful decor inside, the clean stations, and the obvious investment in being a top notch salon. We loved Looks.. and will be recommending it to anyone in need of a trim or a transformation!

We all love her knowledge of hair styles and what product to use for our individual needs. She has been my favorite and I'm writing to let others know they can be confident in choosing Looks hair nails and tanning as their salon destination.

You can tell that she loves to build relationships with her clients and make your haircut a fun time for you too. She has been cutting hair for over 14 years and honestly knew exactly what to do for my hair. She took time with every detail yet I was in and out of the chair quickly to start my day. I scheduled through Facebook with her and she immediately responded to my request.. even when I adjusted the appointment due to a change in plans.. the booking was flexible and simple. The haircut is great!! After cutting, she offered to wash my hair.. which is such a great service. Washing away the stray little hairs... plus there's something relaxing of someone shampooing your hair and scalp. Jumping back in the chair, she blowdried and consulted on styling. She added texture spray to help style it without the feel of a gel. With the added wash and style, I could head straight to work without needing to head home to shower after the haircut. I know... all of those services, the personal attention... you are thinking... how much did this cost? That's the best part... $25. A local shop, a wonderful person, and a great haircut!
