As a 1st time client they know how to show you how much you mean to them right off the bat. You will see how all the stylists, assistants and other staff love what they do, where they work and are so much like a family. During non COVID times they treat you with a beverage that you can sip on while they perfect you - even introduced me to my new favorite tea. At the end of that visit, You receive a "gift bag" with all sorts of coupons to use for your next visits - and Yes - you will want to go back! My favorite thing about this Salon is that you can use any stylist (without any unnecessary upset) and still get the same amazing results. Their record keeping is phenomenal and they are always there for each other if there are any questions. I am continuously impressed how the stay on top of their training - even have set training days and opportunities for them to learn in other places. They are always upgrading their products so you know only the best is being used. The atmosphere is calming - exactly what it needs to be while your being pampered. Their washing station chairs ROCK - push your remote to put up your foot rest and recline back in your chair so you can fully relax during you head message. Because all of this (and many more little things) I always feel fabulous and like a new person when I leave there. I also find I am having to go less between visits due to the great care and attention to detail they have which allows my hair to grow out beautifully. She left all the leg work in finding a replacement artist to me, as she had already booked up her assistant that day with another wedding, (but was very quick to tell me she was taking bookings up to 34 weeks, you know, for my "summer makeup needs.") Finding another MUA has quickly become a very difficult task, as my wedding is over a holiday weekend and I'm currently residing overseas; hence why I booked her so far in advance! When I emailed her to express my frustration and explain the difficulty I would have finding a replacement, she suggested I go to a mall makeup counter to have my bridal makeup done. While I appreciate that sometimes beauty professionals have to cancel due to forces outside of their control, they should be willing to make their backup artist available, especially to brides! Brittany has very much left me high and dry, scrambling to find a replacement whose work I'm happy with. This is not something I would wish on any bride!

When I expressed surprise, the waitress informed me that it's always a buffet and people just know. I'm from out of town and they knew this when they took the booking, so just tell me. We were immediately seated in the 'wine cellar' not the main restaurant. This was down a flight of stairs which I hadn't been informed of. One of our party has mobility issues, so it wasn't a great start. The 'wine cellar' is basically an empty room that I imagine you hire for private parties, very basic with cheap tables, chairs and black tablecloths (not very festive). We were in this room with a large family group with young children and the kids were noisy and touching everything on the buffet table. One group of 3 older adults just left. We stuck it out with one other table of adults and that family. The food was just ok, but as is often the case with buffets, the hot food was at best warm. The mash potatoes and vegetables were borderline cold and utterly unseasoned. The salmon was overcooked and the beef was 'ok'. Desserts were Costco standard and the kids had already attacked them before anyone else even looked at them. This was a complete, dishonest money grab and it's had left a very sour taste literally and metaphorically. I very much liked the restaurant on my last visit, but this felt grubby and mercenary which means I doubt I'll eat there again.
