I was in need of a really good salon. One afternoon my son had practice in Oceano so I dropped him off and drove down Grand to see what kind of shops they had. I walked into Shear Elegance and met Carrie right away, I was so impressed with her and her salon. She has been taking care of my hair ever since that day. She colors, highlight, cuts and blow drys /styles it! The blow out and styling is my favorite!! Carrie is one fantastic stylist. He coloring and highlighting are superb. I have been a client of Carrie (the salon owner) for five years. Carrie is savvy and keeps abreast of all the new beauty inventions, such as inexpensive a totally natural hair extensions and eyelash extensions. Her skill in hair color is outstanding. I have had my hair extensions for one year and 8 months and the extra length and fullness is luxurious. The lashes are yummy and mean I don't need mascara or liner. Carrie's prices are very fair. She just re-decorated her salon. It is chic! She serves women, men and some elderly. But don't let that fool you, she has the current styles and cuts wired.
