No fancy waiting chairs with fashion magazines and a wall of hair products to sell you. This is a very small shop but very old school. Don't expect a 5 minute buzz and a hot towel thrown over you face. They spend the time to make sure you leave with a SHARP haircut. They do beard trimmings too that can take as long as a haircut because they really take pride in their work. Parking can be a challenge the first visit until you get the routine down. I moved to Horizon West in 2017 and I've been going to the same spot on 192 for a haircut since I moved here. This is my first time trying horizon Wise barber because of some recommendations from friends. I got a normal fade .5 clip size just a trim on top. Nothing too drastic from my current haircut. As a 30 minute mark, as he was finishing up, I asked him to throw a hard part in. As I was checking out, he says something to the cashier and magically my normal haircut became a specialty haircut and I was charged five dollars more. I left five out of tip and went about my way. It wasn't a bad cut, but it was a bad experience and charging me an extra five bucks on top of it didn't sit well. I'd love to come here for the convenience, it's right around the corner from my house, but I definitely recommend another stylist/Barber.
