Not only did they accommodate the last minute booking, but they gave incredible directions on how to get there. The staff was kind, caring and incredibly helpful! We originally planned on renting from a place closer to columbia, I accidentally booked for this location instead which was a good 45 minute drive away from us (only realized when we put the address in the gps to get there!) but it was entirely worth it! We were bummed that it was a longer drive to get onto the boat, but after our experience I would much rather go back there again compared to a location closer to Columbia. They got us on the boat in no time and did an incredible job explaining everything to us. The boat had everything we needed and we even used the floats which were incredible. Not only was the experience in person great, but even before we got there and after we left. When I did the initial booking it wouldn't go through, so they walked me through the process over the phone. After the trip I had questions and called the next morning and they were kind, remembered our family and let me know that I left my favorite hat on the boat and offered to mail it to me since we are a 45 minute drive away. Rather than having them mail it, I asked if they could hold onto it until we come back for another rental and the promised to take care of it until we come back. Oh and as someone with a disability who is accompanied by a service dog, I am always weary of bringing my service dog with me to new places in fear I'll be turned away since my disability isn't visible. Not only was it not an issue whatsoever, but they made sure that it was comfortable and easy for my service dog to accompany me. That's a huge bonus point in my book. Not only not asking what's wrong with me to need the service dog, but treating me exactly how they would treat anyone else was an above and beyond moment for me. 15/10 highly recommend them over the busier, less passionate boat rental companies closer to the Columbia area.

I am so happy I went with this company for my Congaree Kayaking adventures!…read moreThe guides were very friendly, knowledgeable about the area, and always made sure everyone was safe and comfortable. I loved that these were smaller tours. 4 guides went out and they split the kayaking group into 2 groups. 1 guide in the front and 1 guide in the back of each group. that's a big deal for someone who struggles with their hearing. It was nice to know whether I was at the front or at the back, I still was able to hear the guides. Will 100% use this company again if I'm in the area!
