Produce was limited selection. Most items in freezer were freezer burnt. The cashier had disgusting fake nails on that I would never have allowed to touch my food. Who knows what kind of bacteria is under those things. Air was cold and smelled like feet. read more

Shaw's Instacart... is a joke. I thought I was going to pick up my groceries that I would need for the next two weeks today at 5 PM as informed when I placed my order 5 days ago. Today, I find out that I have no order ready, but would have to wait an hour online to try to clear up the confusion with Instacart Customer Service. Somewhere in the preliminary directions for Shaw's Instacart, you apparently are told that IF you add to your order you will be given a new pick up time. When you actually add to your order, there is no mention of a new pick up time. I made that mistake of adding to my order, but when the notice came up, "No New Pick Up Times Available", I assumed the old time was still ine.. WRONG! No groceries! At 75 years old, I will now have to venture into a store because I wrongly thought that I could depend upon Shaw's Instacart service was functioning. read more

Starting with the restrooms...they were dirty and sticky....but I figured it could be an off day..I didnt co.e here to just use the bathroom...so I moved on. The produce was decent, good selection. The bakery was very small area. We were looking for a shaws special cookie we often get...the oatmeal chocolate chip. They did not have any. They stated they dont make that one often. Anyways we got the few items we needed and proceeded to the checkout area. It was late on mothersday and the store was not busy. When we approached the check out we felt as though we were interrupting their conversation...we tried to be polite and say hello. Not one word. They rang everything in and said the toal. We paid again not another word. I thanked the kid who bagged my items and he looked right at me rolled his eyes and continued his conversation. Its just sad that the are not respectful, friendly or nice to customers. read more

i enjoy going here. It's never seems to be very busy which makes parking a breeze. No problems finding a cart or long lines when I'm done. The store is always clean and they have a good selection. read more

We shop here out of necessity, not preference. Very limited store, limited selection, NO salad bar or place to sit, NO high end foods, Basically a low end market, nothing like the nice modern ones that seem to be everywhere else. read more

Why when there a 3 day sale are the sale items not available week after week. I think the rain check idea is good, but I can't eat a rain check. It isn't just once in a while , it is every week. Wouldn't you think extra should be ordered for a sale? I am not able to keep going back to the store. read more

Before I begin I must apologize I am terrible with names but believe the stars will be recognized. I 1st used Shaw's Deli for a last min. scramble on 12/23 and the asst. manager was AWESOME. Food was great! very fresh cuts of fruits and veggies. So when our company Mainline needed to order food for luncheon meetings I knew exactly where to go. I stopped in and ordered wrap platters , veggie dish, and fruit platter for both our Thursday and Friday meeting's. As expected we picked up the food on Thursday and were thrilled very fresh and very tasty. We sent one of the associates to grab our order on Friday AM and when he returned I was puzzled that the small tray of wraps looked like it was jammed into a to go container not displayed as picture show or as we received the day before. Then there was not fruit platter....YIKES! Meeting was starting in 15 mins. and all hands were in on it. Needless to say I was not happy. I called and the deli manager came to the phone and was so sorry, she prepared our food for Thursday but not for today(Friday). She asked if she could call me back she will see if they can bring it out to us. When the call came back the women told me her title and name and was so apologetic and offered to bring out the fruit platter , offered a gift card or tray of cookies I declined both and just said you bringing the fruit out is more then enough. When they delivered it to us he brought out the fruit platter and I was thrilled, I said let me grab my purse we owe for this still. He said no this was our mistake there is no charge, then he said I have something else for you and brought a tray of cookies and small vase of flowers. AWESOME CUSTOMER SERVICE....I was so surprised and pleased. I have many events that will be coming up and I will be using them for all of them. THANK YOU SHAW'S TEAM read more

I have never been in this shaws without having to wait in line for more than 10 minutes, that sounds petty but compared to stop and shop with self check out and at least always 5 lanes open, this is a nightmare. There is never more than 2 lanes open, even on very busy holiday weekends. The 10 items or less lane is barely ever open read more
