Often, buyers' funding would fall through in spite of a pre-approval from a bank, so we asked our realtor for his advice. In the spirit of being a novice at the whole home buying thing, I called Phil and asked when we could meet for an hour or so over lunch. What kept this from being a 5 star review were the issues with the Title/Escrow company they chose (Fidelity). The paperwork was incorrect when Fidelity came to my house to close. The payoff amounts were not correct. Once we did close, a week had gone by without the payoffs being sent by Fidelity. These were Fidelity's issues, not Peter and TILAs, but it was the company they chose for this part of the process. After being patient for days, as soon as I brought these issues to Peter's attention, his pressure on Fidelity fixed things.
